These are the only nail clippers I've ever seen where for a right handed person the blade to the right (nearest my palm) is coming up rather than down. The advantage for tiny dog owners is that you can see precisely how much of your dog's nail you're cutting even if it's a very small amount of nail.
I bought these end of October and now beginning of February they dont cut my kittens nails all the way but only half of the nail.
I was scared to clip my little dogs nails, some of her nails are black and it’s hard to see the quicks. Yet with these you adjust it to the tiniest amount to cut, so your sure not too cut to short. Seriously so easy and she doesn’t seem to mind, especially because they do not make a loud cutting noise when clipping the nail.
It's very easy to trim my cat's nails with these. I feel comfortable that I won't accidentally slip.
These don’t open wide enough to fit my dogs nails properly and don’t cut clean through leaving pieces of nail hanging. Absolute junk and a waste of money! For reference I have a 36lbs basset hound.
Based on the description, I thought these would be better than the scissor like ones I have been using. The sharpness would make it quick and easy and the handle would be easier to hold. However, when I use these on my cats they react as if I hurt them when I am not cutting the quick on their nails. The spring on the other trimmer was malfunctioning and it is not very sharp. But they tolerate me with those rather than using this. I can't explain why. Maybe they are not as sharp as advertised.
I got these nail clippers originally for my bearded dragon, but unfortunately I had to re-home her before I could use them. But then I got a baby ferret who needed his nails cut and I got to use these. I love the fact they are adjustable so you don’t have to worry about the blade being too big, or too small. And they cut pretty smooth, and even so it wasn’t a complete struggle for my ferret.
These are so easy to use! They’re sharp and I hardly had to use any force.
Dont waste your money and what you cannot return them.
I just received these in the mail and they are perfect for trimming my fur baby's nails! I have tried so many trimmers and these are by far the best! They're adjustable and cut really good. I highly recommend these Zen Clippers!
