Thanks to Zesty Paws for this free flea & Tick veterinary formulated soothing shampoo & spray. Gigi, my pug, has very sensitive skin and this helped her with her allergies as well as keeping thise pesky fleas and ticks at bay. Freddy has very sensitive paws and this did wonders for him and bringing some relief to a very sensitive area for him. We were careful not to get it to close to their face but they did not mind it at all. Our rambunctious hound dog who gets in the dirt and digs daily got extremely clean from it and it didnt take much of it at all. And with the spray, it is a nice go between to keep your pets fresh smelling with the added benefit of the flea and Tick prevention. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a dog that is outdoors a good deal and needs a quality product to keep them clean and smelling fresh.

Wow! This dog shampoo and spray is incredible! I have a chihuahua/pug mix who tends to get stinky and occasionally itchy from allergies and dry air. While this is targeted to flea and tick control which my pup does not have, it uses essential oils with a fresh and clean scent which I love! After her bath she smells amazing, the scent lasts a long time and I get the added benefit of repelling fleas and ticks. She also seems to be less itchy which is a huge relief as a dog mom to find something to soothe her when her allergies act up. I will say that I avoided her face as I was concerned the scent may be too powerful in that area. The spray is just as great and perfect for a quick refresh between baths. It is priced extremely well with two very generous bottles that with the size of my dog will last a very long time. I will definitely purchase this set again as my dog has not ever felt so soft or smelled so amazing!

Absolutely love Zesty Paws shampoo! It smells strongly, but in a pleasant way and fades fairly soon after bathing my dog. Lathers very well also, which helps in getting a thorough clean. We deal with a lot of ticks here in Ohio, and having the extra layer of protection is a definite bonus. My dog deals with a lot of dry skin issues and allergies, and I noticed a big improvement in coat, skin and his occasional itching after use. Overall a high quality flea+tick shampoo I would highly recommend, as it performs better than most I've used. The Zesty Paws spray is a wonderful way to "touch up" my dog's flea and tick protection between washes with the shampoo. It smells strong, but like the shampoo doesn't linger forever. The packaging is nice, and high quality - I had no issues with any nozzle clogging or sticking when attempting to spray. Definitely would recommend to extend when you may have to put off another wash day, or if you are going to be in high grass and want an extra layer of protection for your dog.

Living in Texas on a greenbelt, I was thrilled to receive this sample as were constantly outdoors! I’ve been searching for a good quality dog shampoo & have tried several brands but this zesty paws flea & tick preventative dog shampoo will become a staple in our home. It has an incredible rosemary natural scent that lasts weeks. Everyone snuggles on our pup & appreciated the natural woodsy smell her coat held. The shampoo has a great lather & thick creamy texture that washed well. I also love the clean ingredient list! The spray is great to spray down before we adventure in heavier wooded areas.

I used this on my Bernese mountain dog, who often is really hard to find any ticks on due to his fur. Any extra protection is a win in my book! I was drawn to this spray because of its natural ingredients like cedarwood, rosemary, and peppermint oils and I wanted to avoid harsh chemicals. Although using any type of natural repellent on a double coated dog can be tough. The application was the most a little tricky and can be difficult on a double coated dog. The directions recommend pulling the hair against the grain to spray close to the skin, which is time consuming and difficult to achieve full coverage on such a large, fluffy dog with a dense coat. The pump spray nozzle made it harder to get deep into his coat compared to a continuous mist or a trigger sprayer. Overall, it did not irritate my dogs skin, i think its great for general prevention but for a dog like mine, i wouldnt rely on this as an only line of defense. We live in a very wooded area and often go for hikes in the woods. Which are high risk areas for ticks, although I’d definitely recommend for a shorter coat dog or as another line of defense for double coated thicker fur.

I love it for its soothing effect on irritated skin (with or without a flea issue) as well as how good it smells. I have an elderly chihuahua who has a a lot of skin irritation and this actually made him stop grooming himself for a couple of hours. The shampoo is nice too, it’s my new go-to.

It rinsed out easily and didn’t seem to irritate her skin at all. The soothing spray is a nice added bonus: lightly scented and convenient to use between baths for a quick refresh. As for flea and tick effectiveness, it’s a bit early to fully evaluate since it’s currently cold and ticks aren’t active in our area. That said, I appreciate having these products on hand and will be curious to see how they perform once warmer weather returns.

I tried so many different types shampoos and sprays before I got this one. The smell is not wonderful, but aside from that, it actually seemed to calm her skin itch down! I’ve only had to use it once and she’s stopped scratching! So I’d deal with the smell to have to stop obsessively scratching herself.

However this is a very strong smelling product. Not perfume-y, just a very strong “fresh” scent. Like your dog just came out of a fresh mountain spring and walked through tall grass or something similar. If you have issues with strong smells, I would go with another product

I recently tried the Zesty Paws Flea & Tick Veterinary Formulated Soothing Spray along with the Soothing Deodorizing Shampoo for my dog, and I’m really happy with the results so far. My pup has pretty sensitive skin, so I’m always a little nervous about switching products, but both of these worked surprisingly well. The shampoo has a mild, clean scent, not overly perfumy and it lathers nicely without feeling heavy or greasy. After rinsing, my dog’s coat felt soft and looked noticeably shinier. What I appreciated most was that it didn’t seem to irritate his skin at all. If anything, he scratched less over the next couple of days. The soothing spray is a great addition between baths. It’s lightweight, dries quickly, and seems to help calm any hot spots or itchiness. I also like that it’s formulated for flea and tick concerns, so it feels like an extra layer of protection without using something harsh.
