Not super long lasting

My 1 year old dog loves these sticks. They have an obvious scent and are very enticing. Once he has chewed the ends and nubs off, I replace them, which is usually within a week or two. I feel safer giving these than the Nylabones or Benebones, which are extremely hard and more likely to crack a tooth with hard chewing. The combination of flexible silicone and nylon core is unique and makes these a great option for moderate chewers. I would rather replace these than have him break a tooth or chew on something he shouldn't. I wish they were available in a thicker stick size, because he's less interested in the other Zeus Duo shapes. I'll keep buying these and monitoring him while he chews.

My dog had one of the outer silicone ends off within seconds of giving this to her. She's an enthusiastic chewer, but not necessarily destruction-minded: mostly just likes to gnaw rather than rip anything apart. The inner hard plastic didn't last much longer. I might as well keep giving her dollar store silicone spatulas to tear apart, because I at least she's less inclined to swallow the non-chicken-scented pieces off those.

Buyer Beware
What a disappointment. Within 10 minutes, my puppy had chewed the rubber coating off. The description says it is nontoxic but says nothing about it being edible

She could have easily choked on the rubber pieces. Shame on you, Chewy, for offering this dangerous toy.

A Big Hit
My nephew's Lab puppy was visiting and accidently left it behind. My Border Collies found it. They loved it since much, I ordered two. Its a nice texture for chewing
