This review is specifically just for me and my cats. It may be different for other households. First off I like that this came fully assembled, it’s ready right out of the box. It is also sturdy for being a smaller scratcher. However it is lightweight so it won’t handle cats going wild on it. I thought maybe if it was turned on its side they would bunny kick it, but still no interest on their part. I offered it to all of my cats (most are 9lbs+ and one is elderly) and they weren’t even curious about it even when I played with the ball and put catnip on it. So while it’s not something I would get again, it might work out great for a different set of cats (probably kittens instead).

We received this product for review. My cat is picky about his scratchers and I thought this would work for him because the rope is dyed (that softens the texture)
We received this product for review. My cat is picky about his scratchers and I thought this would work for him because the rope is dyed (that softens the texture). It is about the size of a basketball. My 10lb cat is small and he did use it once, but we have had it for about 2 weeks and he ignores it. It is well made and the rope is firmly attached to the ball, making for a great scratcher. This would probably be good for households with kittens or with cats who prefer horizontal scratchers.
Cute but tips over easily
This is super cute. It also seems to be well made. However, it tips over way too easily and my little guy couldn't get any leverage to acually stretch and scratch

Not good for my cats but the dog loved it..
I placed this item where my two cats usually like to use their scratch pads. I tried to entice them with the ball toy and the use the rope coil to scratch on but
I placed this item where my two cats usually like to use their scratch pads. I tried to entice them with the ball toy and the use the rope coil to scratch on but they both showed zero interest in it and have ignored it ever since. That said, my dog, loved it and used it as a chew toy!!

This is a great toy. I’d have given it 5 stars except for one thing. The footing is too small and the ball topples over too easily. I am going to attach a larger foot and see how it goes, because my kitties LOVE it when it is upright. This would however be perfect as-is for kittens.

Great color and material. Love that it’s small and compact and can sit on top of a table. However, it’s not at all sturdy, so if the cats play with it too forcefully,
