Not for Bearded Dragon
As a bearded dragon owner, this kit could use a lot of upgrades in order to provide proper housing. A bearded dragon would quickly outgrow this setup. A full grown
As a bearded dragon owner, this kit could use a lot of upgrades in order to provide proper housing. A bearded dragon would quickly outgrow this setup. A full grown dragon should be in a 75-gallon tank, not a 10-gallon as this setup would fit. Also, bearded dragons require a proper UV light to prevent a serious condition called MBD. The proper light for this can only be provided in a long tube light that stretched 3/4 of the cage, not the dome lights provided. The dome lights are nice and come with clips so they remain secure to the lid. They provide a very nice basking spot. The thermometer is also nice and reads humidity which is very important. This may be more suitable for a gecko or other dessert animals.

I decided to use the Zilla Desert Reptile Habitat Accessory Kit for a new Anole set up I'm doing. Don't have it completely set up yet. I had to sew the mat so it would fit a 20-gal hexagon tank rather than a 10-gal rectangle tank and bend the hooks so they could attach to the very small holes in the lid. I can't use the food for this pet but might have a use for it someplace else. The temperature and humidity guide will be very helpful because I need to keep eye on it because they like it a little moist. I like that it has the option of suction cups or permanent stickers. The power has an on/off switch so it can be attached to a timer. Very big plus!
Great starter kit
I had a pre-existing gecko habitat but this was a great addition and it's always good to have backup lights. For someone just starting, this is an excellent kit
