The tank and screen are good but the lights were not right for a leopard gecko so we had to purchase new lights and bulbs.
It works and is not broken. I am keeping a mantis in it for now and am going to swap the mantis for a bigger critter
As others have mentioned, the bulbs don't last. The night bulb lasted 3 days, and the day bulb lasted 8 days. The material used for the ground cover isn't very useful, as it feels like cheap felt and wouldn't be at all easy to clean. For the money, you'd be better off piecing these components together yourself. You're going to have to buy foliage and a water solution anyway.
Every thing a reptile owner needs to take care of it
So.. 1st of all, I should have researched better to know the proper size tank for any desert animal. Chewy being animal specialists or whatever they claim to be should know better than to sell this contraption to anyone under the assumption that this tank is what you need. So my mistake for trusting Chewy. #1 it's too small for any animal. Again, I should've caught that. #2 This was a Christmas present to my daughter for a Beardie. Christmas was 3 days ago, and the light is already burned out. Not to mention that the 1st tank came with only 1 of the advertised lights so I was sent a replacement. Now I'm in the hole for a tank & have no lights for our beardie! Extremely disappointed in Chewy right now.
I feel like should have been more and better product for the price! I’m just being honest, it’s ok!
The night light bulb popped first use. Everything else was fine.
I got my money’s worth I’d say, my lizard loves it
This kit is amazing! Not sure what the one guy was talking about because these lights do a perfect job of heating this tank. Keeps it around 90 on one side and mid 80s on the other. Perfect for my Rosy Boa. The only issue was that the temperature gauge was broken, but chewy sent out another right away! I added a pic showing the lights, I added the decor. I would definitely recommend this kit!
The heat lamp busted after 4 days. Not great quality
