Will this be good for single leopard gecko?

Answer by ChewyMar 13, 2021
An adult leopard gecko needs at least a 20 gallon tank or similar amount of space.

Would this be good for a bearded dragon

Answer by ChewyMay 25, 2021
This habitat is too small for a bearded dragon. The Small size measures 9.25 x 5.34 x 2.165 inches and the Large measures 15.43 x 9.44 x 2.68 inches.

What is the recommended size for a tarantula?

Answer by ChewyMar 30, 2021
The general guideline for a terrestrial is about 2x - 3x the diagonal leg span of the spider for the ceiling height. You would have to compare your tarantulas subspecies average size to the dimensions of this enclosure.

Can you use a heat lamp on top of the enclosure?

Answer by ChewyMar 22, 2021
Heat lamps should not be place on top of this enclosure.

Perfect for insect keeping

I keep Superworms fit insectivorous lizards and this seems to keep them better than using the large cricket keepers. You can open the entire lid, it lays completely

I keep Superworms fit insectivorous lizards and this seems to keep them better than using the large cricket keepers. You can open the entire lid, it lays completely open without tipping over the bed and bugs! I like the latch, just makes me feel better. I have been using another type keeper for the Dubias but when that one becomes too bothersome I will change to one of these! Excellent little terrariums with air holes and do stack as it says they can.

Looks Great but wrong parts in packaage

This was shipped in a box for terrestrial critters, but it had the parts for an arboreal critter. It looks like it would be a nice cage though. i have to return

Good but some flaws to be aware of.

Be advised there is a protective film on both sides of the plexiglass pieces you need to peel off for it to be clear. This is held together with stronger rubber

Be advised there is a protective film on both sides of the plexiglass pieces you need to peel off for it to be clear. This is held together with stronger rubber bands so it should last a bit but not as good as a full terrarium. Waiting for some other supplies but this should work for some isopods.

Exactly what I needed

I already had the arboreal version of this enclosure for my jumping spider so I knew this would be perfect for my new isopod colony

I purchased 3 of these enclosures for my tarantulas. They went together easily and looked nice. The problem I found is that my tarantulas are frequently sitting over the very tiny vent holes. Stagnant air is a problem for them and can cause problems. I’d attempt to drill more holes but concerned the plastic could crack. I open the lids frequently to give them fresh air. These would be great for displaying the tarantulas for shows, etc. but I don’t like them as long term homes. These look nice but need much more ventilation in my opinion. I have since replaced one of the enclosures with a low profile glass one with a full screen top. I’ll eventually replace the others as well.
