Is this product safe fo bearded dragon eyes?

Answer by ChewyFeb 27, 2019
It's not recommended to let this shed-ease formula get into your pet's eyes. Make sure water level is shallow enough that animal's head is out of the water, never leave soaking reptile unattended.

Can this work on a crested gecko?

Answer by ChewyApr 20, 2020
This bath can be used on all types of lizards and snakes.

I have a 7 ft boa. Can I just apply this directly to her via paper towels when she is shedding?

Answer by ChewyAug 17, 2019
For full effect, it's advised to use as directed. Add 10-mL of Shed Ease to 16-ounces of lukewarm water. Soak reptile for 20 minutes to allow emollients to penetrate skin. For reptiles naturally found in high-humidity environments, soak for 10 minutes, once a week. When soaking your reptile, always make sure the water is shallow enough that the animal can easily keep its head above the water.

Does this product need to be used along with a dechlorinator?

Answer by ChewyJan 05, 2024
This product does not require any additional products but it does require between 10 mililiters and 16 ounces of water.

I'd originally thought that it would be gimmicky, but my ball python has struggled with stuck shed. NERD had used it for one of their snakes, and it seemed to do the trick. I tried it myself, and it helped to loosen the shed, where multiple baths had not. I stand behind this product.

Chameleon bath day!

Only used once. Seems good. He keeps shedding so I went to Michael's to get more foliage for him. But seems good.

Didn't work for my Mexican black kingsnake. She has had a stuck shed over her left eye for some time. I've been soaking her in plain water hoping that would help and when it didn't, I ordered some of this hoping for some better luck. I've used the entire container and the shed is still stuck.

I have a Bearded Dragon that has truly awful sheds, and sometimes gets 2 layers of shed in some areas before it comes off. From the very first time I added this product to his soak water I noticed shed pieces coming loose, and now with repeated use of Shed Ease his sheds are almost normal. It really does work!

I have a bearded dragon, that I have rescued. She was having a hard time getting off her shed. I read that this product would help her a lot. So as soon as I got it I instantly made her a bath. She instantly started soaking and gave me no problem for 15 minutes. A lot of the shed that was stuck has came off. But I will be doing another soak in a day hopefully that will get the rest off. Thank you so much chewy for a great product in just the nick of time

When my blue tongue skink and ball python were babies, they had a little bit of shedding problems even though the humidity was where it should be. I mixed it in with warm water, placed them in the water and their skin came off within 15-45 minutes. They haven't had any problems since then.
