Does one side open to clean out a nest?

There is a hole in the back of the birdhouse to clean. To clean your birdhouse, remove out of season nesting materials through the hole in the back and wipe with a damp cloth as needed.

Does the pole come attached or do you need to attach?

Terrible construction

Purchased as a gift. Just awful. Doors and windows are crooked, debris painted over on the roof and porch. Base of the house cracked while trying to screw it together

Purchased as a gift. Just awful. Doors and windows are crooked, debris painted over on the roof and porch. Base of the house cracked while trying to screw it together. Finial needs to glued in because the hole is way too big for it. Only good thing I can say about about and worth a half a star at best is there is a flip cover to clean out the nest debris. Don’t waste your money.
