The Small steps measure 21 inches in length, 18 inches in width and 15 inches in height. The Medium steps measure 21 inches in length, 18 inches in width and 18 inches in height.

Can you remove the top step and just use the bottom two so that there is a wider top platform? (Can you just not zip on the stop step?)

The top step can be removed.

How deep are the individual stairs?

Durable materials

Our rescue chihuahua and rat terrier both use the stairs with no issues. I may put a rubber mat on the bottom of the stairs to hold it because they love to run up

Our rescue chihuahua and rat terrier both use the stairs with no issues. I may put a rubber mat on the bottom of the stairs to hold it because they love to run up and down them and it does slide a bit on our hard wood floor.

My Sweet Dog is Happy

My hound mix was instructed by her veterinarian to eliminate jumping in these elder years. I have a very high bed, and my girl loves to sleep in it. Long story short,

My hound mix was instructed by her veterinarian to eliminate jumping in these elder years. I have a very high bed, and my girl loves to sleep in it. Long story short, these steps were a game changer for her. She has learned to climb them (there are no steps in our home) and they are very sturdy. I did have to help her overcome anxiety over using them, but it’s not a reflection on the product. Very easy to assemble (as in I didn’t even need to read the instructions) and my elderly. At loves them too. The weight rating was perfect! (My girl is 70 lbs and the unit holds her beautifully.)

Soft & not slippery because of the fabric

With my little dog struggling to jump on the couch this made it easy for her so she doesn’t hurt herself. I have the taller 1 for my bed. Works well on hardwood

I like that the covering is washable, and my dog got used to them in about 2 days. The steps are not as firm as I had expected though, and our other dog won't try

Great stability

I have a 26 pound dog and also 110 pound Great Pyrenees that both like to sleep in bed with me which is fine but my is very high and as my smaller dog got older,

I have a 26 pound dog and also 110 pound Great Pyrenees that both like to sleep in bed with me which is fine but my is very high and as my smaller dog got older, she was afraid to jump off I bought three other sets of stairs and return them Once I got this one she uses it to go up and down and now the Great Pyrenees doesn’t have to turn around and back up to make a running start to get on the bed. She just goes right up the stairs and it doesn’t tip over. They’re very stable.

I am so happy with this purchase. We had hard frame steps at the end of my bed for my cats/dogs before, but my toes always caught them in the middle of the night
