I am switching from raw (instinct) because of concerns with avian influenza. is this product raw?

Can this be left out in a bowl like kibble for the cats to snack on intermittently?

If this formula is not stored in a sealed bag or air-tight container, it can be exposed to air and/or moisture, causing the food to become dry and brittle or creating the potential for mold.

I have an automatic feeder for my cat. The minimum distribution is 1/4 cup of food. Is there some way to decode how many ounces per quarter cup of food?

Ziwi Peak Air-Dried Mackerel & Lamb Cat Food is fully shelf stable. There is no need for refrigeration. Seal carefully and store away from direct sunlight. This food should be used within 8 weeks of opening.

I cannot recommend this product and would advise against it. The product is very smelly. Mg cat liked the treats but then threw up in a scary way. She yelled in

I cannot recommend this product and would advise against it. The product is very smelly. Mg cat liked the treats but then threw up in a scary way. She yelled in the scariest meow I have heard. Like something was really wrong and then threw up multiple times and then had diarrhea. There was bubbly foam in the throw up. The first time I had let her j to my apartment building to explore so I thought she had eaten something bad in the hallway. I gave her the treats a second time and the same thing happened. It was so scary. I didn’t want to go to work and leave her. She likes lamb too.

They were not too turned on with this food. Why? maybe the smell?? Cats are carnivorous and unless they are raised near a water source... I think fish is not

Too Bad my Cat Doesn’t Like it

My cat took a couple sniffs and would not eat it. I also tried mixing it with his current dry food and he wouldn’t touch it. Wanted to try it as a healthier brand

My cat took a couple sniffs and would not eat it. I also tried mixing it with his current dry food and he wouldn’t touch it. Wanted to try it as a healthier brand than Purina Beyond Salmon and Brown Rice, which my cat loves, unfortunately, I started feeding him it right after adoption. I also fed it to my last 3 cats who recently passed away over the last year and a half all with different health issues. However, I read toxins in cat food can cause hyperthyroidism and my one cat got it at 12 years and it is a devastating disease. I recently read about arsenic in rice. Also, just found out Purina coats the outside of some of its pet food bags with a chemical containing BPAs. That is very concerning. So I guess my cat prefers Salmon to lamb and mackerel, which may be a too strange combo. Ingredients seemed good and the brand had a good review online.

Crazy expensive, but the quality is there!

Cats went nuts for this food. Obviously it’s very expensive, but I am moving away from carb filled kibble to this food. One cat gets 1/4 cup a day, so we’ll see

Likes the air dried quality. Adding some water makes the food better.

The food is a bit pricey. Feeding a small handful in regular cat food helps.
