Disappointing

I got a few of the half shanks for my pup a year or so ago and she REALLY liked them. As she has gotten bigger (50 lbs), I thought I'd try the full size. It's expensive

I got a few of the half shanks for my pup a year or so ago and she REALLY liked them. As she has gotten bigger (50 lbs), I thought I'd try the full size. It's expensive but if it kept her entertained for a while, I'd consider it worth it and I waited with anticipation to give her this special treat. Unfortunately, she was able to break a sharp piece off it in about 10 minutes. I always watch her with chew toys anyway so I was aware and got it away from her but I had to toss it. I don't like leaving negative reviews and Ziwi is usually a great brand but I feel I should speak up on this as it presents a danger if your dog is a real power chewer. :(

I ordered this bone MONTHS ago. My standard poodle absolutely loves it! He got the bone nice and clean so I ordered him a new one. This time around on his first chew,a tiny piece of bone broke off,then another one,then another one. Definitely a choking hazard and I wouldn’t want my dog consuming the tiny pieces. In the months of having the bone previously,I never had this issue. Not sure why this is one is breaking apart so easily into tiny pieces. Have to keep a close eye on my pup while he enjoys it.
