- Helps prevent Strongylus vulgaris larval infestations and control adult large strongyles as well as adult and fourth-stage larvae of small strongyles, pinworms, and ascarids.
- Great for horses in boarding and training barns, those who frequently move for training or competitions, high-risk age groups, horses on non-rotated pastures, and more.
- Daily deworming can help maintain your horse’s health and peak performance.
- Formulated to be safe for use in fertile stallions, foals with a consistent grain intake, and mares at any stage of pregnancy or lactation.

Feeding Instructions
- Strongid C 2X is to be administered on a continuous basis either as a top-dress or mixed in the horse’s daily grain ration at the rate of 1.2 mg pyrantel tartrate per lb of body weight daily.
- To achieve this dose, administer 0.5 oz of Strongid C 2X per 250 lb of body weight. (A Strongid C 2X measuring cup is enclosed.
- Strongid C 2X should be administered for the entire period that the animal is at risk to internal parasites. Unprotected animals that have grazed may already have an established S. vulgaris larval infestation.
- Before administering Strongid C 2X, these animals should be treated with a therapeutic dose of a larvicidal product.
Instructions
First, If The Horse Has Not Been Previously Dewormed Or May Have An Established A Strongylus Vulgaris Larval Infestation, Administer A Broad-Spectrum Purge Dewormer Such As QUEST® PLUS Gel To Treat Your Horse For Existing Parasites.*
Then Begin Daily Treatment With STRONGID C 2X. Next, Work With Your Veterinarian To Determine The Ideal Duration For Daily Treatment And Frequency Of Purge Deworming Necessary Based Upon Your Horse’s Individual Parasite Risk Factors And Unique Individualized Deworming Needs.

I really like this daily wormer for 2 reasons: Firstly, I have a mare who has a stubborn worm problem and this helps. You still have to orally worm, but the strongids
I really like this daily wormer for 2 reasons: Firstly, I have a mare who has a stubborn worm problem and this helps. You still have to orally worm, but the strongids are really hard to get rid of. Secondly, for young horses. The infestation cant get started AND you don't have to wrestle as much with the youngesters to worm them orally.
