Can this be used with the Zoo Med Halogen Splash-proof lamp?

The Zoo Med Economy clamp lamp cannot be used with a splash proof halogen bulb, the bulb runs too hot it will damage the socket.

Can this be used with a ceramic bulb?

The economy clamp lamp cannot be used with a ceramic heat emitter, the heat emitter will melt the socket. The ceramic heat emitter needs to be used in the wire cage clamp lamp only.
