Do I have to plug this in?
Answer by ChewyNov 19, 2021
This LED Waterfall Ornament does require to be plugged into an outlet to function. Plug LED power supply to a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) outlet.

Where do you fill the water from because last watering system i had was horribly et up because crickets could easily get in and would die and ruin the water i would constantly have to dump the water out nd put fresh water
Answer by ChewyOct 03, 2021
When you are first setting up the waterfall you can fill it mostly from the back where the pump is before placing it in your terrarium. Once it is in the terrarium you can then add water from the front by pouring it into the very bottom base of the waterfall. You just want to make sure that you add enough water that the pump in the back is fully submerged in water.

Could this be used for a ball pythons enclosure is it safe for him?
Answer by ChewyApr 21, 2022
This ornament may be used in a ball python enclosure. It increases humidity in the terrarium which is essential for all tropical reptile species.

Does the power cord unplug from pump so a small hole can be drilled in cage to run the power cord through?
Answer by ChewyFeb 01, 2022
The power cord for the pump is attached to it, it cannot be removed.

Broke after a month

I think the battery pack fell inside the fountain and drowned. It has suction cups on the back of the pack so I assume it was supposed to stick to the inside wall of the fountain, but it didn’t stay there and now the water isn’t running. The lights still work.

It's pretty cool but..

It needs a couple updates in a way. First off I put this in my ball python enclosure which was a huge mistake. He tipped it over the first night I got it, and the pump burned out. Then thinking about it, the eye holes in it could cause a snake like him to get stuck.

Spooktacular Fountain

Very Pleased at the construction. Solid and Larger than expected. Works really well, as do the LED lights. Just make sure the LEDs are seated all the way into ports. Also, this will begin to tell you when Low on water by Sound and when the water draining from the top to bottom looks bubbly and cloudy. Simply pour more in, and you can Hear the difference. I LOVE IT! Our Beardie Loves it! Bought the smaller one for the Chameleon.
