This LED Waterfall Ornament does require to be plugged into an outlet to function. Plug LED power supply to a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) outlet.

Where do you fill the water from because last watering system i had was horribly et up because crickets could easily get in and would die and ruin the water i would constantly have to dump the water out nd put fresh water

When you are first setting up the waterfall you can fill it mostly from the back where the pump is before placing it in your terrarium. Once it is in the terrarium you can then add water from the front by pouring it into the very bottom base of the waterfall. You just want to make sure that you add enough water that the pump in the back is fully submerged in water.

Can this be put in a freshwater aquarium?

If you pull the pump and LED’s out of the waterfall then you can put it in the aquarium as a decoration. This waterfall is not designed to be fully submerged underwater with the electronics in it.

Got this for my Cuban False Chameleon as a way to help keep the humidity up and to insure buddy is drinking. Over all I Do really enjoy it, it runs good, easy to put together, and mostly quiet. One thing is that it’s difficult to clean. Lot of crevasses to get into and under, which can be difficult to be ontop off or get too if you have mobility issues working with or cleaning things like that. It tends to build up in certain spots, and can be hard to clean due to the texture of the rock. It doesn’t come with replacement filters, but honestly your best bet is to buy fish filters from and cut them up. Overall I enjoy this, but I would’ve preferred to know how difficult it could be to clean.

Broken

The waterfall came busted up. I was able to get my gift card credited since I paid with one. Don't buy this but if u do customer service will handle it professionally

Not suitable for what I intended to use it for
