Do I keep both of the lights on,day and night?

It is recommended that the UVB bulbs are used during the day and turned off during the night to mimic daytime and nighttime.

This lamp can be rested atop a high screen top, hung over an aquarium, or used with the Zoo Med Reptile Lamp Stand. The wattage of these lamps can work for a painted turtle, depending on the size of their tank.

Severe wiring issues!

So I have 2 turtles & I've had to replace these lamps a couple times. Once I couldn't get the bulb screwed in & it broke off (thankfully on my floor, not over my

So I have 2 turtles & I've had to replace these lamps a couple times. Once I couldn't get the bulb screwed in & it broke off (thankfully on my floor, not over my tank) 2x now after some use, they switches crackle, flicker bulbs (tried changing bulbs, to troubleshoot) I've gotten good at moving cord around, moving switch, slowly turning switch on & off. Not wanting to burn my house I've just had to go back to single fixtures. Takes up alot of space & inconvenient. These are expensive fixtures & having replaced multiple times is just a bummer.

Bulbs dont want to screw into the socket

I purchased two of these and tested them today. One worked fine but the other has some issues. The bulbs all work but the 2nd kit isnt really lined up and the sockets

The bulbs all work but the 2nd kit isnt really lined up and the sockets are nearly impossible to use a bulb. Shipping was horrid, cheap boxs held together by glue and the tape doesnt go all the way around so i could open it with one hand.

Works but with one issue

I purchased this back in back in March a few days before I purchased 2 Bahaman Anoles. When I first started using it, I had no issues with it working, however, a

I purchased this back in back in March a few days before I purchased 2 Bahaman Anoles. When I first started using it, I had no issues with it working, however, a month later, the blue daylight bulb blew out. I contacted Chewy about the issue and they replaced the blue daylight bulb for me. Just a bit over a month after replacing the bulb, the blue daylight, yet again, blew out. Thankfully I had additional replacement lights on hand so I was able to replace it without having to wait for new bulbs to arrive. The side with the UVB bulb is still going strong and haven't needed to replace that one yet. I'm not sure why the side with the blue daylight bulbs keep going out with around a month of use. Both times it happened just right when I turned the lights on in the morning.
