Would this help lessen hard water staining on your tank while cleaning it?

For hard water spots, we recommend just using a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water. Put it in a spray bottle and then spray down the hard water deposits, let it sit for a minute and then you should be able to wipe most of it off.

Is this safe to use with live plants in the terrarium that can’t be removed?

This cleaner should not be used with anything in the tank. If the plants cannot be removed, we do not recommend using this product on them.
