Transition Instructions
Our top tips for switching from traditional dog shampoo to a true organic:
If you want more lather, add more water, not shampoo. Washing 2x will condition your dog’s coat better than using synthetic conditioners. If you dog has a build-up of traditional shampoo, long or oily hair, you may notice a natural “waxy” feeling after the first few baths. It will get better with regular washing. Be patient and keep the long term goal in sight - making your best friend’s skin and coat healthy while lowering their exposure to environmental toxins so you can enjoy their company for years to come!

Smells like a fancy spa
By juliaaa on Nov 26, 2020
This shampoo smelled amazing while using it, I felt like I was at a very fancy (and dog fur-filled) spa. My dog liked it as much as he would like any shampoo probably. The scent doesn't linger after the dog is dried, but I don't want a very fragrant dog anyways.

the worst shampoo I ever
By Tmitch on Nov 17, 2020
If I could give it a 0 I would. Plz don’t but I had a horrible experience with this shampoo. I used on my cavapoo and his fur matted up - to the point where I couldn’t get the knots out and had to take him to a groomer . This company should have a disclaimer on it or something !!

Gentle Bath
By 11LW on Nov 22, 2020
I feel good about using the Lemongrass and Aloe, it rinses easily and smells good. My dog seems more comfortable after a bath with this shampoo. I’m purchasing a bottle for a friend’s dog for Christmas.

Will continue to search for something better
By amber on Dec 13, 2020
I was excited about this shampoo. However, it was very drying to my dogs coat. Caused a lot of matts. Gave 2 stars because I liked the ingredients.

Not for Us
By Bennie on Sep 20, 2020
Not for us...I prefer shampoos that smell lovely and have a rich texture. My lambs are 77 lbs. & 55 lbs. [RESCUES - AMAZING!!] - my former lambs were Shiba Inu's and very particular - obviously, they were MUCH smaller and our go-to was either Burt's Bees or Buddy Wash - I was looking for an alternative - nope - this shampoo reminds me of embalming fluid [no disrespect].

Good stuff
By Amaka on Nov 22, 2020
Good stuff. Used it twice already. Dog seems to like it. It did help ease her itchiness due to allergy. Will consider buying again once this bottle is used.

smells amazing
By Leee on Oct 13, 2020
amazing smell, great ingredients, good trusted company for dogs and humans. is a little overwhelming when you use too much thinking it wouldn't foam up because of how liquidy it is but foams up really good with just a bit of water mixed in.

too thin to work
By apibblenamedpond on Sep 23, 2020
This shampoo sounded great but the consistency is way to thin to actually stay on your dog or even your hands. Also found the smell way too potent.

Awesome smell
By VioletsMama on Jul 10, 2020
Our vet recommended this shampoo for our min pin/chihuahua mix and not only does it smell great but makes her coat feel nice and silky. I love the ingredients and so glad Chewy sells it. This is our shampoo from now on.
