It is not necessary to use conditioner after this shampoo. Washing 2x with this shampoo will condition your dog's coat better than using synthetic conditioners.

This shampoo is suitable for 6-8 week old puppies or older. When giving a full bath to a puppy, care needs to be taken to control the temperature of the water (should be warm but not hot) and then for quickly drying once the bath is over to help avoid a chill.

Is this shampoo antimicrobial ?

This shampoo is not considered an antimicrobial product by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act. It does contain ingredients that have been shown to have antimicrobial properties.

I've been using 4-legger shampoos for many years. I feel like I could have been an early customer. Unfortunately they only carry a few of the many therapeutic shampoos 4-Legger offers. I advise you go on 4-Leggers website if you require specific treatments for your dog. I've used them all on my two deceased dogs and they always solved whatever skin issue my dogs had. Also their paw/nose pad cream is the best. My Shihpoo loved having it applied to her pads at night as part of her "spa" treatment.

Mr Itchy

This really made Mr Itchy much more comfortable. His coarse coat became silky and he was more handsome than ever. Smells terrific too. Actually cancelled vet appointments

Felt good using this safe product on my best friend. Of course lifting Mr Itchy hy 70 pounds into tub another story.

Glad I tried it again.

My Miniature Schnauzer has environmental allergies. I have tried many shampoos on him and he always itches right after a bath. I had tried 4-Legger a few years

My Miniature Schnauzer has environmental allergies. I have tried many shampoos on him and he always itches right after a bath. I had tried 4-Legger a few years ago and didn't see a big difference but decided to try it again. This time, I'm impressed. It's the first time I've bathed him that he didn't itch afterwards. He is a community therapy dog and everyone commented on how soft his fur is and how nice he smelled when we volunteered at our local hospital recently. This is what I'll be using on him from now on.

So I was looking for some new shampoo to try for my 6 dogs since I was already running low and decided to buy a bottle of this. Mainly got this since it's for sensitive

So I was looking for some new shampoo to try for my 6 dogs since I was already running low and decided to buy a bottle of this. Mainly got this since it's for sensitive skin and definitely dealing with a case of allergies on one of my pups that always ends up in some type of trouble. She ended up breaking out in hives, was itchy, got a little rash under her stomach from scratching, and even started losing patches of fur which is quite unusual since she mainly gets a few hot spots in the summer. So this definitely came in handy to help soothe her irritation that she got from probably a bug, rolling in things she shouldn't or eating things she shouldn't in the yard. The consistency of this is a bit runny kinda reminds me of oil but definitely gets the job done in cleaning the fur and a little goes a long way. Definitely love the smell as well dogs not so much but helps deter flies from landing on my dogs which is a plus during the summer. Loved how it helped reduce the size of her hives and reduced redness as well. Hoping this will continue to help her skin.

Tried this new shampoo on my Chihuahua/min pin, let me tell u the WORST SHAMPOO EVER!!!! BEWARE!!! Lathered up very well, very strong odor my dog was gagging on the smell and I was as well, did not rinse off well left a residue after 2 rinses. Called chewy as they usually have great products, should have known with only a few reviews but wanted a organic shampoo DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AL ALL!!!!! Will not be donating this product to any dog! Discarding it in the trash. Had high hope for this brand, 2 thumbs down!!!!
