What side is the 40 split on... driver or passenger side

This cover features a section in the middle that is approximately the width of a center arm rest. This can be completely unzipped to create a split in the middle using the arm rest. it can also be unzipped on just one size so the passenger or drivers side seats can be folded down to create a 60/40 split.
Will this allow access for a car seat for a child to be installed behind passenger seat??

What are the dimensions of the straps for the backseat headrests? I have a Jeep Compass and the headrests do not adjust in the backseats. I am having a hard time finding a hammock that have straps long enough to fit. Please advise and thank you.

The straps for the headrest measure 22 inches at the longest and 5 inches at the shortest.
