What is the sodium content in this wet food?

The Chicken and Fish flavor contains 0.19% sodium as fed and 0.96% sodium on a dry matter basis. All Acana recipes are formulated to meet the guidelines set by the AAFCO. The sodium in Acana recipes will be present naturally in many different ingredients. Some of the recipes will list salt in the ingredients list, which means that sodium was supplemented, on top of what was available in the recipe. Acana only supplements what is needed to meet the nutritional needs as established by AAFCO. The majority of the sodium is coming from the fresh ingredients.

What is the mercury content in this wet food?

Third-party testing for mercury in ORIJEN and ACANA foods showed averages of 0.02 mg/kg (+/- 0.02 SD) and 0.03 mg/kg (+/- 0.03 SD) in dog and cat foods respectively.

Made both cats sick

I don’t know what it is with this brand of food but it made my cat sick. I fed some of one can and my boy immediately threw up. Thought it was a one off and tried

I don’t know what it is with this brand of food but it made my cat sick. I fed some of one can and my boy immediately threw up. Thought it was a one off and tried again a couple weeks later and it happened again. I have all but 2 cans left but afraid to donate it and get any other cats sick. I also purchased the kitten variety of ACANA and my kitten also got sick from it. Will never purchase again.
