Are the cans BPA free?

Bisphenol-A (BPA) is a chemical that can be found in the lining of some cans and is used in many consumer products. It is now found in very low levels in the environment around us, making it impossible to eliminate it 100%. For this reason, the manufacturer cannot say the cans our food is packaged in are BPA-free. They can, however, assure you the cans are non-intent BPA, which means BPA is not used in the making of their cans or added to their cans.

Dissapointing All Around

I was so excited to get this food for my cat because I really love this brand. Unfortunately, MaryGold wanted nothing to do with it. I think cats can be picky but

I was so excited to get this food for my cat because I really love this brand. Unfortunately, MaryGold wanted nothing to do with it. I think cats can be picky but honestly that's not even the worst part. I just started using Chewy and I thought this company is so convenient. I was really digging ordering something and getting it in a couple days. However, I sent a message to chat with an associate and asked about returning the cat food for a refund or a replacement. I was told Chewy didn't do refunds. I thought oh well that sucks well maybe that's the catch. But then she said keep the food donate it will reimburse you. I was reimbursed $9 and they gave me back the $20 gift card I got for a promotion they were having. I thought that's pretty awesome I was really grateful for that. I was window shopping on Chewy today I noticed that they do have a return policy so I sent a message to another associate. I explain to the associate what had happened and he had opted to pay for the shipping for the return. Again extremely kind and I'm grateful but here's the kicker. My husband comes home from work and tells me he has already donated the over $50 worth of food to the cat shelter down the street. So there goes $50 out the window because an associate told me they don't do returns. That's just super annoying and I start to think maybe a I won't be so bad. But I digress I don't like being like that with human beings. I still like chewy I think it's very convenient I think it's affordable however I really don't like being lied to and I do not like losing money at the hand of someone that doesn't even know their own work policies. The bright side the cat's down the street got some good food The kind associate that I talked to today gave me an extra 10% off but I won't be returning anything with that shipping label so you might want to get your money back Chewy. We both don't need to be out money. Everyone else study up on the return policy.

Kitties love lamb day!

I use a variety of premium canned cat foods in my cats’ food rotation. Although this formula is slightly lower in protein than what I prefer, I keep it in the rotation

Although this formula is slightly lower in protein than what I prefer, I keep it in the rotation because it contains actual lamb meat - not just lamb organs - and my cats really love it. Seriously though - don’t even think about trying to take away their bowl on lamb day!
