Baxter’s favorite

When Baxter was a puppy, he really had dietary issues. After trying many different dog foods included those supplied by the vet, we discovered that he was allergic to grains. His vet recommended that to assure proper health and reduce the risk of heart problems that we cycle fish and meat based Acana foods. So Baxter now is on a 5 week alternating diet of Acana fresh fish and Acana red meat. We started with Cheey but then they dropped Acana. I was pleased when Chewy started carrying it again. Now every 5 weeks a bag of Acana arrives. Great for Baxter and for me!

Cooper loves it

My dog has been on Acana for over a year now but just nibbles it along with his wet food but he loves the fish flavor one and eats his whole bowl

good dog food

I have a picky pitty who walks away from almost everything you give to her unless its a piece of steak or chicken off your plate lol so i wont give a bad review based on flavor because she doesnt like anything that most dogs love. But for 5 years she has been struggling with the worst allergies that have ruined her skin and coat and almost nothing helps but it drastically improved while being on her food

Don't like

My dogs hate this food. They are separating from the food I was transitioning them from. Such a waste and it costs so much.

Dog Loves This!

My dog has tried several of the Acana recipes, and this is clearly her favorite! I use this as a topper over her Duck and Pear formula. Thanks Acana!

Best food for the price

After trying several of the “top” brands of dog food, we’ve found Acana to be the best. Our dogs love it. They are staying at a healthy weight, have clean bills of health from the vet, and their coats are silky smooth. Highly recommend.

Great price

Healthy dog food. My dog loves it and ingredients are awesome so I feel good about giving it to her. Plus I had a $20 coupon which made if affordable along with Chewy’s low prices.

Not worth it

I have two dogs who work really hard pulling weight and eat lots of food because of it. One is pure bred, the other is a mutt. I've been trying a few different brands as of late to see if I could put a bit more weight on my big dog. Now, I will admit, the big one can be picky but the little one will eat socks if you gave them to her. That said- neither dog would touch this food after the first time they ate it. They both got really gassy and just laid around the next day. I thought maybe it was something else but after missing three meals I tried giving them a different brand of food which they quickly consumed. I'm not a dog (obviously) so I can only say so much as to the food's quality. But I didn't like the side effects both of my dogs got from eating this food. And that fact that they wouldn't touch it twice... that says enough for me.
