Is this food made in the same location as chicken based food? My dog is allergic to poultry so I need to be sure there is no cross-contamination.

Yes, chicken-based foods are made in the same Kitchens as our ACANA Duck & Pumpkin with Wholesome Grains. ACANA's production lines are not considered hypoallergenic. However, in order to minimize the likelihood of proteins from one diet appearing in another, the Quality Assurance Department ensures that they have validated control measures (such as cleaning, sanitation and flush procedures) to ensure the safety and quality of their foods.

I love that there are limited ingredients and only one protein, Duck. She has terrible allergies and I’m hoping this helps. We will see soon!

No chicken, but...

This is a very goid food for figuring out wgat an adukt dig needs. Its a no chicjen, single protien (beef) diet wuthout grains. However my vet was concerned there

This is a very goid food for figuring out wgat an adukt dig needs. Its a no chicjen, single protien (beef) diet wuthout grains. However my vet was concerned there are too much reliance on peas. I used Badlands Ranch as a topper (stupid expensive for a big dog) because the BR helped to balance it out. If i could afford to feed my 85lb dobie BR, i would. I actually switched tp a purina sensitive stomach on the recommendation of the vet (purina! IKR?) We will see how that goes. Im skeptical.

My pup loves it

My dog is picky and doesn’t eat kibble unless it is mixed with wet food. She was on Orijen, but decided randomly that she didn’t like it anymore, even with wet food
