The glucosamine in the ACANA Wholesome Grains Lamb & Pumpkin Formula is naturally occurring from the lamb ingredients (largely from the lamb cartilage), it is not an additive. This formula does not have any shellfish in it; it contains fish oil, but no other fish ingredients.

What percentage of protein comes from the meat ingredients?

Great ingredients!

I have 3 senior chihuahuas and they all love this food! I switched over to this one because my dog sadie was losing fur around her mouth, paws, and tail. The vet

I have 3 senior chihuahuas and they all love this food! I switched over to this one because my dog sadie was losing fur around her mouth, paws, and tail. The vet told us it was likely a food allergy and gave us special diet food. The special diet food sucked, the dogs ate it but sadie's condition got worse and she was really itchy. I did my own research and found that chicken is a common allergy in dogs which is why I picked this food. All of sadie's fur grew back, and she is much healthier! 10/10 reccomend if your dog suffers with allergies :)

Diarrhea and Digestive Upset

My yellow lab has pretty bad skin allergies, so we needed to get him on a single protein diet. This cleared his skin right up, but he had chronic diarrhea. I assume

Seems to pass the sensitive mini-Aussie test

We swapped to this food after realizing the prior food we had our mini Aussie on was causing severe stomach upset/issues that required some vet visits and meds
