Are there any ingredients from China

While many of the ingredients are coming from US and Canada, ACANA's strong network enables them to source only the best, including lamb from New Zealand, fish from Scandinavia, and other premium ingredients from neighbors. No matter what, every ingredient choosen is selected for its nutritional value, digestibility, and superior flavor. ACANA does not source ingredients directly from China. Some of the B vitamins are made with raw materials that originate in China. This would apply to vitamins B1 and B6, and is consistent throughout the pet food industry. They require that any vitamin components sourced from China must be human grade, and as such they undergo intensive testing to ensure the purity of the ingredient and the accuracy of the blend.

Is the size of the kibble small? I have a small dog.

ACANA Meadowlands recipe has a kibble size of approximately 12mm in diameter. Using fresh ingredients in all our recipes allows them to have high quality diets. However, this can also lead to a natural variation in color, texture, shape, size, smell, or appearance of the diets.

What is the sodium content on Acana foods?

Does meadowlands or any Acana contain taurine

This recipe does not contain synthetically added taurine. The manufacturer has set minimum standards for the amount of taurine they require in their foods. While high levels of taurine naturally occur in many of the ingredients in their foods, including fish, meat and poultry, if the minimum standard is not met, the manufacturer adds more taurine to their recipes to ensure dogs who eat these foods are getting the complete nutrition they need.
