Approximately how many cups are in the 25 pound bag?

Is the kibble soft or hard, does the food need to refrigerated?

The kibble is a dry, cooked kibble and it should be soft enough to chew for the average dog. It is not required to refrigerate, food can be stored in a garage or something like that with large temperature fluctuations, the best storage is in your home in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Once opened, you can safely store food in its packaging by rolling the top of the bag down after each use.

Does your red meat recipe have BHT,BHA or propylene glycol?

Acana does not add any artificial preservatives in their kitchens, such as BHA. Mixed tocopherols are used as a natural preservative in ACANA and ORIJEN foods. The mixed tocopherols are a blend of Vitamin E, rosemary extract and citric acid.

What is the source of the omega three and omega six?

The omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in ACANA Red Meat Formula will come from the ingredients used. In particular, animal fat like pollock oil is a great source.

My dog stopped eating her food from an old brand so I switched to Acana Red Meat and the switch had to be sudden without blending both kibbles at first. My dog would just pick out Acana and never touch the rest of it. She experienced no problems with the switch, she looks great, even more energetic than before and still acts like a puppy even though she’s about to be 6 years old (and that’s the words of her vet!). I’m very happy with this food, thank you Acana!

So much more energy, itching has stopped, hot spots have cleared up. Amazing what this food has done for him. And with the subscription delivery price is reasonable.

Expensive

It is expensive but Jethro needs beef or bison limited dog food because he has a sensitive stomach. Jethro likes it and we are only 2 week into feeding it.
