My super sensitive pug was struggling with constant GI upset and itchy patchy hair loss. I was feeding him a different dry kibble, but something in those other formulations upset his balance. This stuff has saved my sanity and my pocketbook. No more upset tummy, he has a gorgeous full coat, and I’m not spending $150 a month on Apoquel. Yes this stuff doesn’t smell fishy, but I’d rather have fishy smell than diarrhea.

We recently bought this for a dog visiting us who has poultry allergies. When our dogs got a whiff of it, they refused to eat theirfood until they got a few pieces of this. There is a false notion going around that dogs should not have grains, and this can be verydetrimental to dogs. Like wolves, dogs need grains. When a wolf makes a kill, the animal it kills usually has usually ingested grasses and grains. It is completely unnatural for dogs to live on meat alone. This is a wonderful product.

What can I say? The Poods are picky, and they did not love this food. It took them forever to get through it. They have been consistently disapproving of Acana

Didn’t work for my dogs

I have 3 dogs and i usually give them acana grain free. After hearing about how grain free can link to heart disease i wanted to try a good grain substitute. For

I have 3 dogs and i usually give them acana grain free. After hearing about how grain free can link to heart disease i wanted to try a good grain substitute. For my smallest dog he loves it and it and had no issues but for my other two medium sized dogs they love the flavor and will eat it but then throw up multiple times and itch like never before.

My pup has been eating this food for over a year.

My girl has a pretty severe chicken allergy with hives, swelling eyes and wheezing. She loves this food! It makes me coat so much easier to care for as well.

She is a small 10lb shihpoo and has a ton of energy. No issues at all so far with this. Our cat even likes sneaking bites sometimes. I even get the cat version of this to make sure our pup doesn’t get sick eating his food since he likes to throw his around. We have really liked this brand.

My pup was eating the duck flavor, so we thought we would try a different flavor in the same limited ingredient line. First thing I noticed was a very strong fish odor, but that’s to be expected in a fish based food. Unfortunately, my pup started itching again after trying the new flavor. I still recommend the Acana limited ingredient foods, but for my pup, we will have to stick with the duck flavor.
