My dog has been on Acana dog food for over a decade and I decided to give this new one bag of dog food a try. My dog loves the food and the jerky bits, but eating this caused colitis and have bloody stools (allergies). I would caution buying a large bag and sample the smaller one first before fully committing a 15 lb bag. My dog loves most of the Acana dry dog food varieties and now switched to Hill's Science because of the bloody stools.

My Aussie really likes this food, and I do, too. Top quality ingredients, easy to take out of the can and measure out. I have a high-energy dog who competes in dog sports, and this food keeps up with her energy needs. So far, so good! Knocked off one star as the 22.5 bag is not resealable.

Way too rich for senior dogs. I put my 10.5 year old chocolate lab on this as recommended from my vet and he has never been gassed up and bloated with loose stools until this food. I gave it a couple months to test and it only got worse. Not digestible and just too rich in protein and fats. Same thing happened to my GSD puppy who’s on the puppy formula.

There are better ingredient kibble out there but not at this price. The dogs like it. I unfortunately found out one of my pups is allergic to grains (or something in the kibble) as his paws are inflamed and they weren’t on other kibbles. I might try the grain free variety.

Search for a food that both dogs like.

Even though it was mixed in slowly with their previous food, they both got diarrhea. The older dog, who usually eats anything, chose not to eat it all.
