How many cups of food per bag?

There will be approximately 4 cups of kibble per pound. The 4 pound bag will have close to 16 cups and the 22.5 pound bag close to 90 cups.

Itchy

This didn't work out for my maltipoo. He typically does well with chicken-free and gluten-free, and he's had Acana before, but he was incredibly itchy after eating

This didn't work out for my maltipoo. He typically does well with chicken-free and gluten-free, and he's had Acana before, but he was incredibly itchy after eating this. There were also visible pieces of what looked like grain shells throughout the kibble; very coarse and wood-splinter like.

Good until it wasn’t

Everything seemed fine when we started feeding this and then my dog kept throwing up right after eating which isn’t like him. Switched back to purina and no issues

Everything seemed fine when we started feeding this and then my dog kept throwing up right after eating which isn’t like him. Switched back to purina and no issues. So unfortunately this did not agree with Tucker. Now to figure out what to do with a huge bag of expensive food that’s been opened!?

I have 2 dogs (Doberman and pitbull) and both dogs have had diarrhea and upset tummy’s for the past few weeks. We’ve always given them Acana branded food and they’ve been fine on the other bags. However, this flavor/bag does not sit well with either of them. I’m not sure if the recipe changed or what happened. We actually had to go to the vet due to one of our dogs vomiting profusely. Acana is a great brand, but I don’t recommend this bag. Try something else.

Maverick didn't care for it much and he likes most anything. I'm sure it's carefully made and a good product but had to use homemade topper to get him to eat it

My dog has been on Acana dog food for over a decade and I decided to give this new one bag of dog food a try. My dog loves the food and the jerky bits, but eating

My dog has been on Acana dog food for over a decade and I decided to give this new one bag of dog food a try. My dog loves the food and the jerky bits, but eating this caused colitis and have bloody stools (allergies). I would caution buying a large bag and sample the smaller one first before fully committing a 15 lb bag. My dog loves most of the Acana dry dog food varieties and now switched to Hill's Science because of the bloody stools.

We love the Acana brand and rotate the 3 flavors for variety: chicken, fish, and red meat. Our golden loves all of them, but red meat is his favorite.
