How long does the Acana Senior dry cat food last after bag is opened?

An unopened bag of food will last until the expiration date stamped on the bag. Ideally, dry food and treats should be consumed within 6-8 weeks of opening the bag. Exposure to air, light, hot temperatures and humidity speeds up the rate at which foods degrade. To limit these effects, keep dry foods in their original packaging and store in a cool, dry location.

Switched from another brand.......

I had been feeding my cat Cat Person food and due to their business "changes" I decided I needed to switch my 13 year old girl to a different "kibble" and she has sensitive stomach issues ... this food fit the bill. Today it arrived and I set down a small dish of her Cat Person and a dish of this .... the CLEAR WINNER was ACANA SENIOR ENTREE! She has been back to the dish 3 times and hasn't even looked at her old kibble. WE HAVE A WINNER and now I will watch for any tummy upset. I have VERY HIGH HOPES for this and will order again FOR SURE......as a matter of fact I think I am going to do that now since Chewy has a deal on it.

Acana Senior

Got for my 17.5 year old, to supplement his Royal Canin digestive care food. He still has a good appetite. He approves of the Acana and likes the smaller designed kibble!

Great, but too big

My cats like the food. I only wish that the kibbles were a little bit smaller for their fragile teeth.

Great for older cat

My older cat was having problems with his stomach. Getting sick a lot. This cat food has helped him a lot. He loves it and is more energetic.
