  • Serve dry or lightly moistened. See your veterinarian regularly. To help maintain freshness, we recommend sealing the bag tightly and storing it in a cool, dry location.
  • Puppies: at 1 1/2 - 3 months old feed twice the adult amount; at 3-6 months feed 1 1/2 times the adult amount; at 6-11 months feed 1 1/4 times the adult amount.
  • Gestation: increase from 25% to 50% of the adult amount.
  • Lactation: feed 'free choice'.
Transition Instructions

When switching diets, it's important to transition your dog or puppy as it takes time for her digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in ACANA. Over a 5-7 day period, gradually mix in ACANA, increasing the amount each day so that by day 7 you are feeding 100% ACANA.

    Doggie Rated

By OmarDad on Mar 2, 2021

If the fact that my dog acts like he hasn't been fed in days every time its breakfast or dinner time, I don't know what else makes a 5 star review. This food has been his go to for several years and it has consistently been of high quality and we have so far never had any issues with his digestion. The fact it is limited ingredients with minimal filler helps. I am glad Chewy has finally been able to get this line as in the past its been difficult to find with trips to multiple stores.. and paying higher prices. However, its worth to ensure his intestinal health and feed his ravenous appetite

    Picky eater likes

By BZOO on Jan 25, 2021 Top 250 Contributor

I have an EXTREMELY picky Mini Aussie pup. I could literally feed a small shelter with all the stuff she's rejected. A friend recommended this food when I got desperate enough to ask her about vegitarian dog foods (which was also a no go, but a nice lower fat alternative for Kong stuffing for other pup). Picky pup still wants handfed, but that's ok. I wasn't wanting to feed kibble either (wanted to go raw), but that's ok to. She eats this with some Real Meat Dog food and we get some bonding time.

So glad Chewy now carries this!

By Jodes on Jan 26, 2021

My PWD has a bit of a sensitive gut. Vet recommended this brand bout 4 years ago. Can’t speak for other flavors but he loves this one. And with autoship it’s almost same price as the closest Mounds Pet Food 25 miles away.

    So far so good

By Cindy on Feb 14, 2021

My 2 dogs seem to like this so far. I switched to duck because I think they get itchy from chicken. However to soon to know if the duck is making a difference.
