  • Mixed Feelings

    By on

OKay so I wanted to wait to review this product because the instructions said to give it at least 30 days to show any effects. I honestly cannot say that I have personally noticed this to have any difference in my Aussie Terrier Puppy. I think I will probably try a topical spray next time to see if that may be any more effective than the plug in Adaptil diffuser. My Mum swears by the Adaptil collars, so that is another thing I may try in the future. Overall, it wasn't unpleasant for him I guess?

  • Fantastic product!

    By on

I was told by my vet to get this for my new rescue Maltese as she was suffering severe separation anxiety. This is awesome, she is so much more calm and is not so clingy any longer having to be in my lap every second, she happily lays in her bed and sleeps. When I leave she does not panic either. I am so happy I found this product. I also have the spray which is great in the car. My only issue its all very expensive, but it works!

  • Very disappointed

I had high hopes that this would work, but unfortunately, it did not seem to make any difference in the reactions with our 2 dogs.(one pup and one rescue, 3 yr. old).

  • Calming for 2 dogs that don't like each other

    By on

I have two dogs in my household that always have tension between them. This has limited the number of lash outs between them! They now lay peacefully near each other in the living room. Excellent product.

  • Finally, some help for my barker!

    By on

After trying EVERYTHING else, my insecure rescue terrier mix responded to the Adaptil diffuser. He still barks when someone knocks on the door, but it's 3 or 4 half-hearted yaps instead of a full on screaming tantrum. Best of all, after the yapping he curls up and calmly watches the "intruder" instead of shaking, shivering and hiding behind me. He and I are both thrilled with the improvement. I gave it 4 stars because he does still bark but I'm hoping that will improve to a 5 star rating after some time and encouragement.

  • Works for my dogs

    By on

Someone recommended this product and I couldn't believe that it actually worked. I have one particularly nervous dog. When the diffuser ran out, I noticed her anxiety return. I replaced it and her behavior returned to normal.

  • Havent seen best results

    By on

Hi all! I have a ~3y/o female rescue chihuahua poodle mix who barks a lot a dogs when they walk by our apt door (no windows just the smell/ sound of another dog gets her crazy). I was hoping this would work reduce barking and she still has gone crazy but im Not sure if its reduced in occurences at all. I will say that she opted to growl once rather than bark so thats an improvement. I was willing to pay the $20 per month to rectify the issue but im not sure.

  • Product didn't help with SA

    By on

My Weimaraner has separation anxiety in her crate and I've literally tried ever supplement, thunder vest, and now this diffuser. I didn't see any difference with her behavior while using the diffuser. Like it says it works with some dogs but not all, I tried this product for five months and I saw no difference.

  • Didn't Work

    By on

This didn't work for either of my dogs. They are small dogs and I put it in the room they are in most. I noticed no change. I even bought a refill and did it for 2 months, just in case it takes time or something. I'm not sure if I should buy a spray version and use more of it or just forget about it.

  • So far, so good

    By on

I've only had this for a while so it wouldn't be fair to give a hard review on this yet. So far my dog does still pee all over the house. However, I know the cat version did wonders for my cats. Their fighting dwindled down significantly and my cat no longer sprays urine anywhere, even despite my dog marking. I paired this with the potty bells and the belly bands so I'm hoping we can break his marking habits in about two months of using this product.
