I have 3 indoor cats and 2 feral cats. Two cats will eat this food if they are very hungry. The other 3 cats will just nibble a little bit and walk away. They do not like round kibble.
I was excited about this food since I have a cat with chicken allergies & trying to find something she can eat besides fish since I have multiple casts & worried about urinary tract problems. My cats also love Duck wet food so thought this would be a good choice. The 2 cats I feed this to absolutely loved this food. When I first mixed it with their regular dry food they dug around food bowl to get this food so I was very pleased. However I doubt I will buy it again because after over a month of using this food my cats had diarrhea & to make matters worse they have long hair so had poopy butts. I thought it would go away once their systems got use to it (I mixed regular food w/ it for almost 2 weeks), but it only stopped after they finished the bag & started eating their regular food again. For whatever reason this did not agree with my cats digestive system, but still recommend it especially if cats are allergic to chicken. The kibble is really small so good for elderly cats too.
My cat really really likes this food which is hard to say about most dry food for most cats. Everyone always compliments how healthy looking she is regarding her size and coat too, which I attribute to this food she’s been on now for approx 1 year. She’s an indoor/outdoor cat for reference and will nibble this all throughout the day as she comes and goes in and out.
We recently switched my cats food over to Addiction's Duck Royale and my cat loves it! I would 100% recommend this to anybody who has a cat.
Looking for a good quality duck food for my IBS baby but he did not like the smell of this food at all.
We have a cat that has food allergies. We tried many kinds of foods and they all made her itchy to the point of her face constantly being scabby. This food combined with Tiki Cat's mackerel and sardine wet food and her skin has completely cleared and she's even lost a lot of weight. Overall much healthier and happier.
My cat is picky. Addiction is her food of choice. Salmon and Duck are what we use, and she loves it and looks great.
"Mr. Picky" Caesar will only eat dry food. Surprisingly he he likes and eats this food with no issues. Great food for a cat with a chicken allergy. Even Claudio will sneak a few bites if he thinks I'm not looking. And he is a die hard for raw food.
After a little more than a year on this food in duck flavor and sometimes the salmon flavor, one of my cats developed a ton of bladder stones for the first time. My cats had tolerated other dry foods for years without incident. My cats loved the flavor of this, but we won't be using this or any dry food again b/c I suspect this could've caused the problem. And now after battling the stones with prescription c/d and s/d foods, she now suddenly has kidney disease. I don't know what to think.
Spoiled Siamese likes this healthy dry food. Need I say more. :-)
