This is one of the worst pet products I have ever bought. On the bag and in the description it says to add x amount of water, when mixed in it has the consistency of soup, even when mixed for 20+ minutes, there were still hard pieces left in the soup mixture. My dog would not eat this at all. Buy another product like the dehydrated foods from the Honest Kitchen as they are far superior to this product
It was more like reheating saw dust, not great consistency. My dog smelled it and walked away. I had to give it to someone in hopes their dog would eat it. Sorry i wish i could have got my money back.
The food looks like sand and doesn’t rehydrate well. Also, there’s a lot left over in the dish. My dog doesn’t like the food, I seem to have to add some kind of enhancements to get him to eat it. Sorry, I thought this food would work for our dog, but it hasn’t, sadly.
Love addiction dehydrated foods! We use them as a topper for our Dalmatians and so we buy all protein sources for variety.
I tried this brand because my pitbull has severe allergies and can only have lamb and was kind of fooled by the packaging saying there was meaty pieces inside but it was mainly powder and once you added the water to it turned mushy and set of the consistency of like a wet food unfortunately my pit was not impressed so we will not be getting this the 2nd time
I recently switched to dehydrated and was using another brand. The other brands consistency was similar to oatmeal when mixed. This one my dogs inhaled, but the water ratio never seemed to match up. I followed the directions and when that didn’t work I tried various ratios. It was either too wet or looked like packaged potatoes/grits/cream of wheat. It got everywhere; it’s extremely messy and the poor kids had to really work for it out of their bowls. I won’t be buying this again and I went back to the competition. Also, there isn’t a resealable bag, so put it in another container or use a chip clip. I was really disappointed with this purchase and I’m glad I got it on sale.
I go between making her food and finding a healthy alternative to making it. I hate most commercial dog foods because they are full of garbage. The ingredients in this are amazing and she literally dances as I prepare it for her. I love everything about it. Yay for a convenient and healthy option!
My 5 doga adore this food and I like how easy it is to make. I recently bought this for my Grandma's aging Pom, he's been having digestive upsets, I check in with her and he's doing great on it!
So far, not entirely thrilled. However, all dogs are different and will react different, but when I added this to my mix breed boy's food, he did vomit up his breakfast. I only added a dash for slow introduction. My Heeler mix liked it fine and did not throw up. We will give it another chance with the mixed breed boy, but am so far not enthused.
Not gonna lie, it hardly smells like food. With something having ‘herbed’ in the title, I was expecting some kind of smell other than plastic-like. She eats it decently enough, but I won’t be purchasing this again.
