  • Cat gets medication in food

    By on

My cat is feral and needs to eat all his food in order to get his seizure medication. He has also suffered from FUS in the past. It's been very difficult finding a food he likes that is also urinary tract health compatible. This food meets both needs. Looks like fresh shredded chicken. He gobbles it right up.

  • Two paws up.

This is a really big hit with my 9 month old kitten. The meat is actual shredded pieces of chicken and the cheese is limited with a few small little bits added in, which I like considering cats do not benefit from cheese but it's a tasty snack, I'm sure. There's quite a bit of broth in each can but that doesn't take away from how much meat you get and I prefer the extra moisture as I don't have to add in more water to this food like I do for pates. All in all, this is a food I will absolutely purchase again in the future.

  • Loves the cheese!

    By on

My kitty loves the little cheese balls and cleans her dish every time. Its nutritional value is used in my cat's low carbohydrate diabetic diet.

  • Love the Chicken Pieces!

My cat loved the chicken pieces in this. He eats it twice and day and doesn't get bored with it.

  • Not Even A Little

    By on

Sadly, my cat, that I'm trying to wean off Friskies, despises this food. It looks and smells good enough for ME to eat, but will he? Not even a little! I've tried disguising minuscule amounts of it in his usual food, and even tried putting it in a food processor first to further disguise it, but he is having none of it.

  • Very good quality food

    By on

This is a very good quality food, however it has a lot of gravy which my old guys lap up and love, but don't eat much of the chicken strands. Great, high quality food though.

  • No carbs?

    By on Top 250 Contributor

This is similar in texture and consistency to Tiki's Koolina Luau, although the chicken shreds may be thicker. The gravy doesn't separate from the meat and cheese--a plus for cats who like to slurp and run, meowing loudly when they return 10 minutes later to dried-out chicken shreds :-) One thing troubles me, though: On the manufacturer's website, this is listed as having zero carbs. Yet it contains tapioca, a high-carb thickener. Still, this is one of the few quality foods the adolescent will eat; if she's happy, I'm happy!

  • My cats seem to like this quite well.

    By on

This product seems to be enjoyed by my cats. The only thing I would like better is if it were chopped up a bit more as they take longer to chew it. It's just a little too stringy for cats tiny teeth, in my opinion. But it appears fresh and palatable.

  • They love it!

    By on

My two cats won't leave me alone once the can is opened-I have to use my water squirter to get them off the counter long enough to spoon the chicken and cheese into their bowls. Blu and Jorge don't like and won't eat any of the pate's, and I avoid the fish dinners, and it is very hard to find dinners with gravy and bits or pieces of chicken, turkey, duck, or beef. I have only found 2 so far: Caribbean Club with Chicken & Cheese, and Canidae Grain Free Duck & Duck Liver Recipe. Why don't the manufacturers put together variety packs? I am sure everyone's cats would love to try more flavors and their servants wouldn't have to buy cases of cans they won't eat.

  • They don't like it.

    By on

They sniff it and walk away. I don't know why. It looks like decent shredded white meat. It is supposed to have cheese in it but I didn't see any and my cheese loving cat surely did not detect any. In any case, I will not buy it again. It's too bad Chewy does not offer some kind of mix and match case so we don't waste our money on things they will not eat.
