Kittens and pregnant or nursing mothers should eat a little more. Senior cats and overweight cats should eat a little less. Keep fresh water available at all times.
Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time. 1. Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days. 2. Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days. 3. Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days. 4. Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

I’m very specific about the cat food I get and got this one without checking too much into it in a pinch the other month, usually get natural balance LID but heard that one was no good as well. My cat really liked natural balance, wouldn’t even touch this one at first until she realized she was going to have to eat it. She’s thrown up more than usual while eating this and the past three morning I’ve woken up to food thrown up right in front of her bowl. Now I’m very worried but looked into the food on a reputable reviewer site. Claims this food is human grade and above average. Said natural balance was subpar, average at best. Now I don’t know what food to get. Wouldn’t buy this again based off my cats reaction. Don’t like chicken and Turkey being in the ingredients, wish I had looked at the ingredients closer. Lesson learned.
Bought this for my kitten, since it’s good for all ages, and my older cat will push him out of the way to get to it if we aren’t watching her, lol. I’m about to see if my older boys like it. If they do, then we are switching completely to this brand.
Beware of this product! The flavor does not match the ingredient list. Salmon and Trout printed on the front of package, but the ingredient list on side of bag listed chicken and duck - no salon and trout listed. Company should have a recall. Please, cat lovers, always read the labels.
My Shady Lady loves this food and she's the pickiest cat I've ever had!! She doesn't have nearly the dry skin either!!
At first I bought the 5 lb bag and he loved it, then I discovered the 11 lb in the salmon flavor and he really loves it! I’m feeling like it’s a healthy food to give him. The bits are small and round so they get all over the place when he dives in, but I don’t mind. I cannot seem to get him to eat any canned food and I like this better anyway, less mess.
Our Tuxedo cat has a problem keeping his food down, but after switching to Naked Essentials the problem went away and we have no "little surprises".
Out of 4 cats, none of them willingly eat it. They’re all trying to wait me out on getting something else. They aren’t picky eaters either. It didn’t seem to make anyone sick, but I won’t buy again.
I have tried 2 different flavors because I always buy grain-free. My 3 cats wouldn't eat it. Gave the bags to my sister...her 2 cats won't eat it. Ingredients seem great, but they don't like it.
I have several barn feral cats and was looking for a food that was affordable and healthy so I decided to try the I and Love and You dry food and the cats seem to like it. I'm going to stick with this cat food because of quality, the cats like it and the price is reasonable.
Thankfully my kitties love the flavor and I think the small morsels is a bonus too - great price and quality. So glad I discovered this!
