I have been introducing this with their current dry food. Some will eat all that is in the bowl, even licking it clean. Others eat the regular food and leave this new one. I was hoping for a change but some just don't like it.
My cats have been on this food for many years. They like the food. However, about a year ago the company decided to decrease the size of the kibble from regular size to little tiny bits about a quarter of the size of regular. Unfortunately the cats don't like this as much. I find no matter where I buy the food a lot of it has been crushed in shipping. That makes it hard for cats to eat. I wish they would sell regular size kibble again.
My cat has some tummy troubles, and this food reduces her bloating significantly. It may have helped reduce my other cat’s diarrhea. Neither of my cats is crazy about the food. They seem to be ok with the taste. But the very small size is a negative. They seem to think I am feeding them crumbs. At least Chewy ships in a box which protects the food from being broken into smaller pieces. I switched them to a cheaper food only to have one of my cats become very bloated and her fur started shedding heavily. So we are back to feeding them this Nude Food. They are fat so I don’t really care that they are not crazy about it. They eat enough of it and it seems good for them.
Looking for something for a diabetic cat and since he likes this brand of wet food, thought it would work. The morsels are tiny! Figured that would be a plus, but he will NOT eat this food. Matter of fact, five cats will not even go near it. I mixed it in with foods they DO like and they refused to eat at all. Going back to foods we already know, I guess.
Cookie kitty, an older cat just loves this food, she wants it all the time and after feeding this for 7 months now she’s looking like a kitten again, less hair fall out, more energy and calmer. I-was feeding good food before according to reviews and pocketbook cost. bought this food in three flavors I’ve fed her and she loves ALL of them! She’s a happy kitty, I’m happier of course too and especially when cleaning out box, it doesn’t stink nearly as bad.
I'm trying this food for my diabetic cat; she seemed to be having some tummy issues with her prescription diet. This food is low glycemic so I hope it will work for her diabetes because she really likes it so far and tummy issues seem much better. Fingers crossed.
Really good for my cats. They love this dry food alot. They suffer from chronic IBD so this is the only brand they can eat.
After spending days searching for a dry food for my cats (they only get dry food at night as a treat so I can sleep) I decided on this one based on the healthy ingredients and low calories. I was so excited to get this for them and found it so odd when they refused to eat it. I've had it for a few days and just checked the ingredients and it's not the same! Also has 507 calories not 375 how it says online. Same bag, same name, but different formula. This isn't the first time this has happened with Chewy.. its happened with other foods and supplements. If a company changes their formula it's Chewy's responsbility to update that information. Disappointed is an understatement!
My new mommy blended this updated version with the old given to her by my old mommy (breeder). My new mommy took it nice and slow and I had no problem acclimating to the new formula. I love it and I eat a lot of it! From a 16 week old Himalayan.
my cats will not eat the chicken. they will eat the the nude chicken fish mix. I will not buy the chicken again, It was a waste of money healthy or not
