The PVC material is easy to wipe clean and helps prevent any spills or messes from seeping through, keeping the underlying structure and the cage itself protected. Wood dries out when not maintained and can become cracked, warp or become unsightly. For this reason, you should thoroughly clean and treat your pet’s hutch regularly. Make sure to use wood cleaning products and varnish that are animal-safe. Find a place that is as sheltered as possible to avoid wear and tear from the weather

Says is chew proof only had few months and they have chew a hole in it and escaped. Had to buy new cage have plywood over the top tier so they can’t get out till

The screws for the ramps were to long and left bad points. Ours love to cuddle under ramps so we had to put tape over them so they wouldn’t get scratched. Several

The screws for the ramps were to long and left bad points. Ours love to cuddle under ramps so we had to put tape over them so they wouldn’t get scratched. Several holes were not predrilled. And a few pieces cracked while screwing them in. They smelled like chemicals but that went away fairly quickly. Over all I do love this cage and I am glad to have bought it. Just wanted others to be aware of these few items.

I bought this cage for a rat. He seems to love. It keeps him active the downside to this cages. It’s a little hard to clean other than that love it.

Terrible, wood absorbed pee smell

Ordered this for my daughter's new pet rats. In less than a month it permanently smells like pee Even with very regular cleaning. It is also very difficult to clean

Ordered this for my daughter's new pet rats. In less than a month it permanently smells like pee Even with very regular cleaning. It is also very difficult to clean properly because you cannot hose it down with water and cannot remove the pee absorbed from the wood. Don't waste your money!
