Not the best cage for pigs

I bought this for my two gunieas but this cage has caused me more issues then it has been helpful. I have to replace it now after less then a year because they chewed

I bought this for my two gunieas but this cage has caused me more issues then it has been helpful. I have to replace it now after less then a year because they chewed through it like crazy even though I give them plenty of chewing toys, its also horrible to clean especially the top row.

Good but had some issues

The cage is a good size and easy to put together but the pan that goes in bottom for the bedding does not fit snug so that is gaps around the sides, front and back

The cage is a good size and easy to put together but the pan that goes in bottom for the bedding does not fit snug so that is gaps around the sides, front and back so my gerbils that are not quite full size but Close to it got in the gaps and got stuck between the cage and the pan. I finally found them there hours later and got them got (they are fine by the way) after looking all around my house and the cage so I have had to spend all afternoon trying to to figure out a solution to cover the gaps (which I did find something that I’m pretty sure will work)

Manufacturer error

I got it today I pulled it out of the box went to assembly both sides of the cage was broke Glass and also the top of the cage was cracked with the wood

Not right for us

The guinea pigs chewed on the wood parts. We have guinea pigs that have to be kept apart and the lower space was very low and dark. It was hard to interact with

The guinea pigs chewed on the wood parts. We have guinea pigs that have to be kept apart and the lower space was very low and dark. It was hard to interact with animals on either level. The upper water bottle had to be attached at an odd angle. We decided to get a metal cage so we could have more light in the cage and the guinea pigs would stop chewing on it.

DON'T PURCHASE!!!

This is poorly made, cheap wood that splits when ramps are screwed into it; absolutely NOT chew proof; and the bottom tray is too small. There is a one inch gap

This is poorly made, cheap wood that splits when ramps are screwed into it; absolutely NOT chew proof; and the bottom tray is too small. There is a one inch gap at the bottom and all the bedding falls thru. Also the wire mesh on the sides does NOT hold the bedding inside so it ends up all over the floor. If you have a pig that likes to avoid being picked up it's extremely difficult to get them out. The ramps are in the way and the bottom shelf is very low. HIGHLY recommend to NOT BUY!!!

Still not received by FedEx even after receiving the rest of our order

Item purchased for daughters birthday with an expected quality control problem based on others reviews however the rest of our items have been delivered, some even experienced unexpected delays in the delivery yet have arrived and this items still not been received at FedEx for a shipment so we’ve still got no delivery date, details, updates or contact and will now not be arriving timely for my daughters birthday. It appears this item ships by a 3rd party contracting with chewy or something similar so I don’t believe it’s a chewy shipping issue and a problem with the vendors chewy is choosing to work with or sell for. I’ve requested the item be cancelled since it still hasn’t shipped (tracking number and process is identical to eBay or other online private party sellers who never ship and only create the tracking number/shipping label). Pretty disappointing to purchase a big ticket item and find out the hard way that chewys not directly responsible for this or monitoring its fulfillment by vendors.
