Is a pump included for the 15.5 oz bottle?

what is the caloric content of 1 pump?
Answer by ChewyApr 15, 2022
There are approximately 40 calories per teaspoon (20 calories per pump stroke).

what is the omega 3 to 6 ratio?
Answer by ChewyJan 06, 2022
All Alaska Naturals products' guaranteed values are listed with minimum quantities, the value provided to your pet will never be lower than the minimum guarantee. Very often, the numbers are higher than the minimum value listed. This supplement contains the following amounts of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids per teaspoon (4.5 grams): Omega-3 Fatty Acids (min) 20% / 900 milligrams, Omega-6 Fatty Acids (min) 1.5% / 67.5 milligrams.

Is there any vitamin d in it?
Answer by ChewyOct 03, 2021
There is naturally occurring vitamin D present in this Wild Alaskan Pollock Oil. The lipid fractions of Wild Alaskan Pollock contain fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins, these are extracted and retained in the final oil. The Wild Alaskan Pollock Oil formula contains approximately ~0.34-0.75 micrograms (15-30 IU’s) of Vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol), per gram. (This amount will vary, since the Pollock fish feed freely off the coast of Alaska.) Meanwhile, to determine the amount for a 4.5 gram serving, it would be 4.5 x 15 IU = 67.5 IU per 4.5 gram serving.

Bought this for my pup w/ Allergies!

So far I don’t notice anything. But it’s only been a week or so. But he loves the taste and he is a very picky eater.

Flannery Loves It

My pup loves this in her morning meal. Her coat looks fantastic and her skin is extremely healthy. I'm going to make sure to give this to her every morning.

My dogs love it.

I had it for only 4 days before my doberman snatched it off the highest shelf and ate the whole bottle. Needless to say, they loved it

Great supplement

This has helped tremendously in our efforts to improve skin and coat issues! I was looking for fish oil that did not contain salmon, which proved to be VERY difficult. The texture is almost like a gravy, which I think makes it more appetizing for them. We've used this for 4 weeks now - long enough to see positive results and leave a review. Coats have incredible shine, they have less itching, no more redness/inflammation, and very little shedding.

Less stinky than salmon oil

I have two rescues, a Boxer and a Chihuahua. I also foster small dogs coming from various situations but mostly rescues from local shelters. Malnutrition is a major contribution to dry skin, brittle fur and susceptibility to disease (ie kennel cough, which most of my fosters arrive with). I feed everyone a good diet within the best of my financial ability, but the addition of omega rich oil has been a game changer! Some fosters are turned off by the strong salmon smell (I still use it for those with kennel cough as it actually helps them smell the food and encourages eating) so I switched over to the Pollock, which doesn’t have the same level of fish scent. My chihuahua especially prefers the pollack over the salmon, my boxer just loves food in general. But the change in fosters dry skin and brittle fur is the game changer for me. My dogs have been eating this so there really wasn’t a change for them. But when I can see a change in a foster within two weeks, that’s huge! And well worth the added pennies a day to their food costs. No matter the quality of the food you can afford to feed your pets, try adding this to their meals and see the difference! Well worth it!

They seem to enjoy it

We have 2 Doodles and they seem to enjoy this stuff. It's not a bad price for what you get as well. I'd recommend this to someone else if they're looking to add Omega-3s to their pups diet.

Helps skin and coat & my picky dogs love it

I have multiple dogs on medications for allergies and often foster dogs with less than optimal coats or skin conditions. This seems to help their skin, shines up their coats and seems to reduce excessive shedding. I've gone on and off this brand and keep returning. My one dog that won't touch salmon oil loves this. The oil is thick (some brands seem watery) and I appreciate the packaging with the bottle and pump packaged separately in the box!

Defective product

The bottle’s protective seal was removed and the pump already screwed in. Some of the oil had leaked out and stained the inside of the box. Using this product could have harmed my dog. Unfortunately this was my first order from Chewy.

Works Great for My Allergy Ridden Pittie

I got this to add to my dog’s food in hopes of helping her dry and irritated skin. She gets itchy and irritated in the spring due to the pollen and grass. Medicine for her allergies messed with her stomach and made her sick so we have been looking for alternatives. We have been adding it to her food once a day for a month and it has worked wonders! She doesn’t scratch as much and her skin is not red! Her coat looks so shiny and soft and i actually think she might be shedding less as well. Very happy with this!

Waste of oil...and money

Extremely disappointed in this product and Chewy's response to me wanting to return it. Originally, I'd purchased the salmon oil from Hollywood Feed during one of their valentine day sales and thought it worked great until my pup refused to eat at the recommended dosage. Unfortunately, I had to reduce it to one pump in his meals which effectively made the product useless because he wasn't consuming enough to combat his allergies. Decided to try the pollock oil and this was barely out of the box before my Dakota gave it two paws down and a nasty look. I wasted a bowl of food and my money...
