Less stinky than salmon oil
By GibbsMom on Feb 2, 2021
I have two rescues, a Boxer and a Chihuahua. I also foster small dogs coming from various situations but mostly rescues from local shelters. Malnutrition is a major contribution to dry skin, brittle fur and susceptibility to disease (ie kennel cough, which most of my fosters arrive with). I feed everyone a good diet within the best of my financial ability, but the addition of omega rich oil has been a game changer! Some fosters are turned off by the strong salmon smell (I still use it for those with kennel cough as it actually helps them smell the food and encourages eating) so I switched over to the Pollock, which doesn’t have the same level of fish scent. My dogs have been eating this so there really wasn’t a change for them. But when I can see a change in a foster within two weeks, that’s huge! And well worth the added pennies a day to their food costs. No matter the quality of the food you can afford to feed your pets, try adding this to their meals and see the difference! Well worth it! … more

Helps skin and coat & my picky dogs love it
By Anne on Oct 19, 2020
I have multiple dogs on medications for allergies and often foster dogs with less than optimal coats or skin conditions. This seems to help their skin, shines up their coats and seems to reduce excessive shedding. I've gone on and off this brand and keep returning. My one dog that won't touch salmon oil loves this. The oil is thick (some brands seem watery) and I appreciate the packaging with the bottle and pump packaged separately in the box!

Defective product
By JM15 on Aug 21, 2020
The bottle’s protective seal was removed and the pump already screwed in. Some of the oil had leaked out and stained the inside of the box. Using this product could have harmed my dog. Unfortunately this was my first order from Chewy.

Works Great for My Allergy Ridden Pittie
By MazzysMom on May 1, 2020
I got this to add to my dog’s food in hopes of helping her dry and irritated skin. She gets itchy and irritated in the spring due to the pollen and grass. Medicine for her allergies messed with her stomach and made her sick so we have been looking for alternatives. We have been adding it to her food once a day for a month and it has worked wonders! She doesn’t scratch as much and her skin is not red! Her coat looks so shiny and soft and i actually think she might be shedding less as well. Very happy with this!

Waste of oil...and money
By Jingram13 on Apr 2, 2020
Extremely disappointed in this product and Chewy's response to me wanting to return it. Originally, I'd purchased the salmon oil from Hollywood Feed during one of their valentine day sales and thought it worked great until my pup refused to eat at the recommended dosage. Unfortunately, I had to reduce it to one pump in his meals which effectively made the product useless because he wasn't consuming enough to combat his allergies. Decided to try the pollock oil and this was barely out of the box before my Dakota gave it two paws down and a nasty look. I wasted a bowl of food and my money...

my picky dog loves it
By Lilac on Oct 21, 2019
My dog is picky and doesn’t care for dry food. He’ll actually eat dry food with this on it though! I think it’s also helped his mobility too. He’s older and slowing down but a few weeks after eating this he’s been much more energetic. Just finished this bottle and am now trying their salmon oil. (I have to rotate flavors since his royal highness gets bored with food.)

Happy cats + dog
By Elsa on Oct 13, 2019
We started using this product after it was recommended from a friend. Our boxer mix loves it on his food and it really has made a noticeable difference in his skin and fur (no dry skin). Our cat, who has had a horrible skin issue we have gone back and forth to the vet to figure out, looks so much better after we’ve added this to his diet. He is scratching his skin way less and loves meal time.
