Misleading sizing
The sizing in the description is very misleading. I was expecting a lg sized waterproof blanket for my German Sheppard puppy that would grow with her. Upon opening the package, it seemed to be more of a small/med size. I was shocked thinking they sent me the wrong size by mistake. The description says that the lg size is for lg breeds, which it is not. If you have a lab, GSD, Golden etc. the lg is way too small & I'd suggest purchasing the largest size they offer. This co lg blanket would be better suited for a Bichon Frise, Beagle, Cavashon etc. Other than that it's a very nice, & soft blanket. I give the blanket itself 5 stars for softness, print etc. but 1 for sizing. I will be ordering another one in the largest size for my GSD & giving this one to my Beagle.
Really Nice Blanket
I don't know if it's "waterproof" or not (yet) so four stars. We have two "Chiweenies"; I purchased one for each crate. Our male loves burying himself under blankets, even in warm weather. This blanket is so soft on the velvety side. I'd describe the weight as medium. Our dogs seem to love them. I was really disappointed in previous blanket, so this one is much improved. I'm ordering one in XL for a large pillow bed that they share.

My cats lie on my bed getting hair and puke on my bed. This blanket is the perfect solution. It can get trashed and you pop it in the washer and dryer and it is perfect again. It is so soft and cozy!!!! I love it too!!!! Great for both cats and dogs. Would highly recommend it to everyone.

Nice and thick
I like the thickness of the blanket but thought it would be bigger but it's fine for the puppy. I found it $7 cheaper on another site but it's ok.
