Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time. 1. Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days. 2. Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days. 3. Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days. 4. Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.
I can't see the purpose of the quail egg. If it was mixed in then, okay, but it is just whole and placed in the tuna. Several times I cut it up and added it then got tired of doing that and just tossed the egg. Now I just don't order it.
This is my sweet Celestes fav food! I love the healthy ingredients and so does she. Noticed her fur has gotten softer. She won’t eat the quail egg unless I cut it in half but I just use the lid when i open it no problem at all. Trying out new food by alo to see if she likes those too
I have 7 cats and not one would eat that egg and only 1 licked some of the tuna.
Initially my cat Tommy ate it up. Now it's a hit and miss but eventually one of my cats eats it. I have 5 cats. It looks and smells decent and is light white tuna which is how they like their fish.
Surprised but Lunaboo approved! I knew she liked tuna but wasn't sure about the egg; no worries, though, Luna ate it up without a problem (although I did cut it up a bit for her because it's a whole egg, even if it is tiny).
I ordered Almo Nature HQS Complete when a favorite food was "out of stock" and I'm so glad I did. Two cats out of four are eating until the dish is clean. I recommended Almo Nature Tuna with Quail Egg to our son and his cat licks the dish clean also. Atticus also eats the half egg without having it chopped up - I chop it for our cats. Cat people understand this act. lol.
My cats absolutely love Almo and I was excited to try a new flavor that the website was offering! This was such a hit with my gang. I appreciated the actual quail egg in the cans. Some cats liked it, others were a little confused but no matter what all of the food was consumed! I definitely recommend. Worth the price.
My fuzzy buddies LOVE this recipe. Will order again.
