We recommend at least a 7-day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. Great Kibble Option for Spayed/Neutered Kittens

    By on

The kittens took to this version of Royal Canin's Dry Kitten Food immediately, and it is wonderful to have the option to feed them nutritionally appropriate food after neutering. I wish it were available in larger sized bags!

    My kittens love this food

    By on

I got kittens from a rescue an they were already on this. I like that is lower calorie for those kittens already spay or neutered. It is important for me to keep my cats at a healthy weight. The only draw back is the only make a 2.5 lb bag. With two hungry kittens, the bag only lasts 2 weeks! If you order and have multiple cats, may want to order a few bags or sign up for the auto delivery.

Whitley loves it as much as the regular! It needs to come in larger bags! Thanks so much! I love Chewy.com and so does Jr. Amber and Whitley!

    Just spayed and loves it

    By on

Serve it with wet minced on the side. She hates the kitten pate texture. But this new combination with the minced and the dry is a huge hit!

    My new kitten loves it!

    By on Top 250 Contributor

My new ragdoll kitten who was just spay loves this food. She also gets the wet kitten by royal canin. I have changed my mind about Royal canin after I researched as to why a reputable breeder would feed her beloved kings and queens this brand when it has all the ingredients u don't want in a cat food. I was very satisfied with the answers I got and have a whole new way of thinking when it comes to my cat food. My retired queen also like to sneak some of this too and I let her. She is my picky eater. I would say to anyone who is skeptical to do the research.

    Our kitten loves it!

Great cat food with good nutrition value. Our kitten eats it from the bowl and from the cat food tree.

    Not sure...

    By on

My kittens really love this food, but they seem to be starving all the time. Also the price is very, very high by comparison to the regular kitten formula--which they also love (otherwise I'd give it 5 stars).

    My Kitten Loves This

    By on

We moved from Royal Canin mother and baby cat dry food to this and my kitten looooves it. He eats it all up and has had no problems! He actually likes it better than the mother/baby cat food.

    KITTIES LOVE THIS

    By on

The shape of Royal Canin & Purina Kitty Dry Food (I mix the two foods) is what my Kitties & some stray cats like. The ingredients are what they needed to give them strength to grow. We have some older cats that were in need of adding weight due to health & old age, & they picked up in one month active. They did not like the round kitties foods shaped like small peas though, even though the ingredients were very acceptable.
