Feeding Instructions
For Supplemental Feeding Only - Feed dog 1 to 1½ cans per day of Almo Nature HQS Natural for every 10 lbs of body weight per day, rotating with different HQS Complete recipes and/or a dry dog food. Adjust amount based on dog’s activity level.
Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time. 1. Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days. 2. Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days. 3. Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days. 4. Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

This food is a GODSEND in our house! We do Fillet Fridays for our two cats and found our dog more interested in their tuna, so we found this. The bonus is how wonderful it is for dogs with sensitivities as she is prone to pancreatic. Love those so much I also ordered the chicken formula and it's now served nightly along with some dry kibble.

It looks like high-quality tuna without too much fishy smell - though it does smell good enough that we have to fend the cats off while he eats. The ingredients list is also incredibly short, just tuna, water, and rice. The cans themselves are surprisingly sturdy with a strong seal that I'm convinced could withstand just about anything to keep the food fresh. The box the cans come in has a heavily perforated lid to allow easy access, but it popped open during shipping, so be aware that you might have some cans rolling around.

I was a bit reluctant to try this new food with my sensitive dog’s tummy but he loved it. As some other reviewers mentioned the cans are very sturdy but the box popped open in shipping and some of the cans were damaged. Max licked his bowl clean and wanted more. It looks and smells like canned tuna as I expected. My cats also wanted some! Appears to be a high quality food.

I use it as a topper on my dogs dry kibble and he loves it. Continues to like the bowl long after it's empty and looks at you with a look that says "are there seconds cause that was super yummy".

We have three dogs and unfortunately, one dog, our shepherd mix, has a very delicate tummy and up until this food, he has not been able to eat canned food like the others because it caused very runny poop. This food is great for him as he not only eats it with gusto but his poop is still normal and he's not running outside 4-5 times after eating because his tummy is upset. I feed him half a can with his regular kibble and it's working great. I will definitely be purchasing more.

It has a tuna aroma and is flakey. My dogs LOVED it and continued to lick their dishes after dinner. Although it is a dog food, my cats loved it also.
