Read the reviews and was hopeful this might help my cat who is jumpy and anxious sometimes. As soon as I sprayed it, it smelled like mint and catnip. My cat does not enjoy catnip so I was bummed. The mint smell was heavy too and he smelled the items I sprayed it on and ran away.

Very easy to use, however effects do not seem evident at least for my 9 cats. Scent is also a bit odd. Tried using multiple times - spraying rooms, objects, beds, towers - where my biggest offenders of personality clashes or destructive behavior tend to hang out. No noticeable improvements. Perhaps they did occur and were more subtle than I caught though. Definitely no negative effects, so it can't hurt to try!

Nice, light fragrance, no stains

I spray Alzoo calming spray on all my cat's favorite spots like his tree, cubbyhole box, hammocks, his pillow, blankets, and his carrier. He's a pretty chill old

I spray Alzoo calming spray on all my cat's favorite spots like his tree, cubbyhole box, hammocks, his pillow, blankets, and his carrier. He's a pretty chill old guy most of the time at 18 yrs, but when he gets agitated this spray appears to help. It smells good to me, very natural and not a heavy fragrance at all, and he seems to like it! I've sprayed it on pillows and it hasn't stained or discolored anything I've sprayed it on. Haven't used it for travel yet, but definitely will- hopefully without the side effects of drugs like gabepentin

This calming spray seems to effect different cats differently. I sprayed it on a little blanket and my female cat didn't seem affected by it. She wasn't drawn to it but was near it. She didn't appear to have any added calmness about her. I thought maybe it doesn't work. I left the room for a few mins and came back to my boy just laying in the blanket. It's not his in his normal spot. He seemed to enjoy the calming scent of the spray. I did notice he wasn't instigating fights with his sister when I had sprayed some earlier in the day. He normally does. I think I need some more time with the product and different scenarios to get a better idea of effectiveness of the product but may be promising for at least my boy. The smell is very subtle. Like a gentle herbaceous scent. Doesn't linger. Easy to spray.

First I want to say that this is a product for cats and all cats are different in what works for them. I wanted to try this out for my elderly cat who LOVES catnip

First I want to say that this is a product for cats and all cats are different in what works for them. I wanted to try this out for my elderly cat who LOVES catnip (that is what this product is, very concentrated catnip spray). She gets very stressed in the car on the way to the vet and she has needed to go more often in the past month. I do not think this did much for her in the way of anxiety relief, however it did seem to work on other cats in my life. I sprayed it all over some items I was taking to a pet sitting job and the normally whiney/anxious cats calmed down very quickly after smelling the items. They were very relaxed for the rest of the visit. I also left a sprayed carrier open in my house and found the blankets all ruffled up from one of my cats jumping right in. I like that it is a spray that I can use in my car/their carrier ahead of time. I have seen no staining or weird lingering smells from it (it smells quite nice). It’s a good size bottle that you could put to use all over the house, car, vet office (just don’t spray on your cat directly, it’s much to concentrated and they don’t like the smell before it’s aired out). Overall I think it’s worth a try for the stressed out kitties in our lives.
