How it Works

The Comfort Zone calming mist dispensed by the diffuser contains pheromones that mimic a cat’s natural feline facial pheromones (FFP). How to Use

Can you also use these diffusers relills in the feliway multi-cat defuser plugin will they also fit or so I have to buy ur starter kit for muliticat?

Comfort Zone New Formula Calming Cat Diffuser Refill is not compatible with Feliway.
I see this product says “New Formula”... how does this product differ from the original Multi-Cat Calming diffusers?

This formula contains two times the calming pheromones when compared to some other diffusers on the market.
I have 3 cats. My home is 1000 square feet.. Realize it covers 400 square feet per defusser, do I have 2 or 3 in the home? Does the diffuser have to be placed low to the ground? Is it true if you open your windows it depletes faster?

Each diffuser is designed to cover a large room of approximately 400 square feet. It is important to consider the layout of the house as the pheromones may not travel between rooms and different levels. Be sure to keep the diffuser away from obstructions, like furniture, and away from open windows. We also recommend not using the diffuser unit in a room with open windows or near vents. If it has to be in a room with open windows or vents, put it on the opposite wall to ensure the refill lasts up to 30 days. If you use the diffuser around an open window, the product is less likely to be effective.
I would like to make sure this doesn't have. Lavender in it, it doesn't list all ingredient and lavender is toxic to cats. Which I have seen most of the calming diffusers/collars have it in it.

This formula does not have lavender in the mixture. All other ingredients in the mixture are a proprietary blend that helps to stabilize and diffuse the analogue of feline pheromones over the 30 day period.

Working to decrease the fighting

I have 3 cats. 2 are under 2 years old and 1 is 13. The 2 younger ones were bullying the older one which resulted in lots of growling and constant fighting. It made for a very tense household all day long. I tried another product for many months and it did nothing. I was at wits end. I tried comfort zone not thinking it would help. I can say the fighting has significantly decreased. They aren’t snuggled together but they can be in the same room. Life is not perfect but it’s better.

Works Great

I have six cats that I had moved with me from our farm. They have a large Catio where they live a lot of the time but with six they can get feisty with one another. I have been using these Calming Diffusers for six years and I can always tell when they need to be refilled as things are not happy in Catio Land when they run out. Definately recommend for multiple cats.

Really helps my isabella

Isabella is a rescue Norwegian forest cat, with huge attitude and stress levels. This item truely helps her. I have 2 of them and have them plugged in right where she likes to hang out. She hangs out at peace. No tail swishing or anything. Well worth the investment.

Prolific oil emision

The prodct emits oil multiple feet above the diffuser and all over the wall. One of them has damaged an expensive original painting that is hung 3 to 4 or more above the diffuser. And to think I bought a 6-pack of refills.

Keeping Cats Calm

I have notice a big difference on how my new 2 year old cat I adopted in April 2023 is getting along with my cat of five years. At first, the hissing was bad, now they look out the window together, play together etc.. I just wish it was not so expensive because I buy these constantly. You will notice a difference over time.

It really works!

My vet recommended this. I have 3 neutered boys, two age 6, one age 16. Everyone gets along but occasionally sibling rivalry occurs when one of the 6 y/o’s resents attention to the elderly cat. Comfort Zone keeps peace in the family. Last incident occurred when I didn’t realize the bottle was empty. $$$ but worth it.

Good in theory

My cat was urinating on the door - bought this to help alleviate the stress / territory issues. He must need to compete with this also because now one of my cats will pee on the defuser - not working as advertised

Doesn't work

I tried to save a little money and bought Comfort Zone and my cats pee'd all over the house and fought like they were angry. I sent it back. The other brand works much better. Don't waste your money on Comfort Zone.

Calming diffuser

I can really tell a difference in how Marlie acts. She is less hyper and will even lay on the floor in the sun. Theses calming diffusers have really made a difference in her behavior.

Great calming agent

One of my cats has been licking excessively...to the point where her paws are going "bald".....have three diffusers around the house......and several weeks later most of the licking as stopped....and her fur has returned......I'll continue with this product....just wish it was cheaper!
