How it Works

The Comfort Zone calming mist dispensed by the diffuser contains pheromones that mimic a cat’s natural feline facial pheromones (FFP). How to Use

I see this product says “New Formula”... how does this product differ from the original Multi-Cat Calming diffusers?

This formula contains two times the calming pheromones when compared to some other diffusers on the market.

I have 3 cats. My home is 1000 square feet.. Realize it covers 400 square feet per defusser, do I have 2 or 3 in the home? Does the diffuser have to be placed low to the ground? Is it true if you open your windows it depletes faster?

Each diffuser is designed to cover a large room of approximately 400 square feet. It is important to consider the layout of the house as the pheromones may not travel between rooms and different levels. Be sure to keep the diffuser away from obstructions, like furniture, and away from open windows. We also recommend not using the diffuser unit in a room with open windows or near vents. If it has to be in a room with open windows or vents, put it on the opposite wall to ensure the refill lasts up to 30 days. If you use the diffuser around an open window, the product is less likely to be effective.

I would like to make sure this doesn't have. Lavender in it, it doesn't list all ingredient and lavender is toxic to cats. Which I have seen most of the calming diffusers/collars have it in it.

This formula does not have lavender in the mixture. All other ingredients in the mixture are a proprietary blend that helps to stabilize and diffuse the analogue of feline pheromones over the 30 day period.

Didn't work at all. I have been using 5 different pheromone diffusers

I have been using 5 different pheromone diffusers for 6 months. I have one plugged in each room, including the small laundry room. Aggressive attacks from Spotzie

I have been using 5 different pheromone diffusers for 6 months. I have one plugged in each room, including the small laundry room. Aggressive attacks from Spotzie onto Delilah happened every day that me or my husband did not supervise 100% with a squirt gun, so we have been squirting Spotzie a lot with water. It is true that punishment only works as long as the punisher is present.

I have a cat with severe anxiety (she's a Napoleon cat). She takes Prozac and it helps but has not fully resolved her issues. I have also added in a probiotic for anxiety and these diffusers and have seen a dramatic improvement over time. She is now making friendly gestures towards my other cat and is not pulling out her fur as much as she was. Her anxiety is severe so she needs multiple treatments but this was added at a different time than the other treatments so I'm sure that it is responsible for part of her improvement.

It doesn't have a discernable scent, but the first time I plugged it in they both walked up to the diffuser and took a whiff. They still don't like visitors, but they are friendlier with it than without it and not as stressed.

I love these diffusers so much and buy them on repeat. Ever since the Cat distribution system added a kitten to our home 2 years ago, there has been mild chaos in the home between cats even with proper introductions. These plug-ins have been a game changer. There is peace once again! Of course there are still small disagreements but nothing like the yelling & tuffs of hair incidents of the past. These work so well, I have been using them for almost a year and I can seriously tell when the diffusers run low when the confrontations start up again. Highly recommend these for multiple cat households but you need to commit and add them in all common rooms and keep them filled.

I have 8 cats. 1 spayed female and 4 nutered males, all litter mates and in the house. Bedtime was a nightmare with all 5 running, jumping on the kitchen counters, climbing in my pantry, running and sliding off of furniture, scratching furniture, and worst of all...climbing my curtains. They had me climbing the walls! I had tried sprays to keep them off of the furniture - which DID NOT work. So finally after reading reviews of Pheromone products for cats, I decided on trying Comfort Zone. It has been a blessing in a little bottle. No more running through the house like maniacs, no more climbing curtains, climbing on kitchen counters or in the pantry. They still have their playtime but it is sooo much more calm now. I was very pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this product is. I am sure that it does not work for everyone but so for me, it is a God Send (a Chewy Send).
