How it Works

The Comfort Zone calming mist dispensed by the diffuser contains pheromones that mimic a cat’s natural feline facial pheromones (FFP). How to Use

Which pheromones does this mimic?

This diffuser contains Analogue of Feline Pheromone 5%. It mimics feline facial pheromone (FFP). This is a synthetic analogue of the pheromones cats deposit from their cheeks when they rub against objects and people. It is used to create a sense of security and is a common ingredient in calming diffusers and sprays.

Do these refills work with Feliway diffusers?

These refills should only be used with Comfort Zone diffusers. Similarly, FELIWAY diffusers should never be used with any other cat-calming refill from another company.

It's a convenience of a plug in

These pheromone plugins do not work for my cats. I have tried numerous brands and types, but they just don't. It's a wonderful idea since I inherited some cats

These pheromone plugins do not work for my cats. I have tried numerous brands and types, but they just don't. It's a wonderful idea since I inherited some cats. I wasn't ready for and my cats aren't all that patient, but I just don't see the results. I had a white cat about fifteen years ago.Who would start purring immediately when I plugged one of these in?But she's the only one out of probably twenty cats that i've had.

It works well for calming

Our Bengal is aggressive toward our other cat so we keep them separated. We put this diffuser in with the Bengal and it seems to help somewhat in his demeanor

Not enough to allow us to put the cats together but at least he is not as aggressive with us. We use this in conjunction with fluoxetine and together they have helped somewhat.

Definitely I'm NOT getting this again

First the smell is terrible. My loving easy going girl turns cranky and a loner and I have had non stop headaches also have been extremely nervous my other 2 cats

It's working!

I have tried other ways to get Grace (poorly named aggressor) and Shadow to tolerate each other and they have not worked. I didn't want to comment until I had used

I have tried other ways to get Grace (poorly named aggressor) and Shadow to tolerate each other and they have not worked. I didn't want to comment until I had used Comfort Zone for 30 days. I can actually tell a difference in the lack of drama in the house. They aren't exactly friends yet, but the growling, hissing and mini scuffles, when one comes near the other, has stopped. They are currently napping in the same room with me as I type this. That's major progress!
