I've got one cat who is extremely anxious and nervous and has been peeing in the house for 10 plus years regardless of what I've done to mitigate the smell or the habit or the house I've lived in. I put this on after a stressful three or four days for him and within a few hours he was immediately more relaxed and not hiding or running away as much and as far as I can tell he has not marked anywhere in the house since it's been put on. I've tried two other brands and they both had way too strong a smell and powder that came off, and this one has neither of those things. The only con is yes it does come off easily, however that is a safety feature and I would rather it pop off and have to be put back on then get caught on something and choke him.

There is no smell & questionable calming effect.

We openned the sealed pouch w/ collars & put on cats 1 day before long car trip we started 3 days ago. Neither cat seamed any calmer but we did not have a control group. The lack of scent may have no bearing as the wall plug in calming oils also have no smell. We want to ease the cars anxiety so much that we will spend the money on these to do anything that might help. Hope there is real clinical evidence of effectiveness & a quality control that ensures performance.

I tried these on two of my cats. My youngest male was acting very anxious since we added a new kitten to the household. He was not eating well and was mounting the kitten. Within a day of wearing the collar, both issues began to resolve, and he was back to normal in a few days. The other cat, a two year old female, can be aggressive toward the other cats. After wearing the collar a couple days, her aggression level improved, but she became very subdued and stopped playing and cuddling, so I removed her collar.

I have two cats who sometimes fight (and one of them has started peeing on the carpet) so I got these for each of them, in the hopes it would mellow them out. I think it was starting to help with the fighting, but I could not keep the collars on them, even with both of the closure tabs on place. My one cat (slightly dim) kept getting his jaw under it and then running around with it stuck. And also, apparently it is tasty to dogs, because my youngest dog licked the collars while they were on the cats and then started chewing them when they fell off. If these were made to fit a little more securely, I would continue to try them, I was hopeful they would work.

I definitely notice a difference when using these collars. I have a cat who can get a little obnoxious toward the other cats- this seems to do just enough to take the edge off. I have this in addition to diffusers. He just occasionally needs an extra boost. I don’t know that it truly lasts 30 days, seems most effective in the first week, so may not be the best option for a cat who needs it all the time

One of our cats was having litterbox issues and being a jerk to our other cats. After a $$$ trip to the vet to rule out health issues, she diagnosed him with anxiety and suggested this collar before we try meds. It’s been three months and the difference is noticeable. He became so sweet and playful, and the litter box problems resolved. The collars last about 30 days and I can practically tell you it’s Day 29 because he starts picking fights with our other cat again. For the record, I’d tried the pheromone diffusers a few times before this and saw no difference, so I didn’t expect this collar to work. It did! Also, I put a collar on the cat he was bullying - now he feels extra calm around her. ;-) We have no trouble with the collars staying on and it doesn’t bother him. My only complaint is that they look like flea collars but they don’t smell bad to humans.

My cats were fighting all of a sudden, I brought them to the vet, we figured out the issue & corrected it. But, while trying to determine the issue I put the collars on my two 7 year old cats, a female tuxedo and a male black cat. The collars worked immediately, calmed their stressed fighting mood, made them very chill and relaxed. I’ve bought them again since, just incase . I believe the collars are good for 30 days but if I remove them sooner I store them in a zip lock baggie and they still worked the following year, pretty amazing.

My cat Lizard likes to pick fights and stress herself out so much that she develops cystitis and pees blood. I made a lot of lifestyle changes to help her including prescription foods, adding more enrichment items, getting several new water fountains, keeping to a steady routine, and separating her from her main adversary. All of this helped, but I didn’t see a major improvement until I tried these collars. She’s much more relaxed, playful, and affectionate. Every couple of months she starts hissing at the other cats again and I know it’s time for a new collar.

My cat, Booster, has gradually progressed from scared of our new pup to moderately aggressive towards her. We gave him one of these collars about a month ago, and he started to seem a bit calmer within a few days. He's still not a fan of his new sister, but he's allowing her to be closer without puffing up, sprinting away, complaining, or swiping.
